The weird thing is that clearly the only thing they did for that video was dub her JP voice over the intro. The rest of it where she’s doing her moves is just using her EN voice again. Even Ken’s voice is his EN voice.

1)What difference between light/medium/strong “Bolt Charge”?
Only travel distance and direction?

Can all lead to follow up “split river” and “rodeo charge”?

There is only one EX version of “Bolt Charge”?

3)How are them normal dash and backdash compare to her V-skill version.

I was watching the socal exhibition yesterday and David said something that only her mp elbow can be followed by the grab. Is this true?

Yeah from what I’m hearing light is safer, medium has the followups, and heavy is the anti-air.

As for the questions above, j.lk and j.mk both cross up, j.hk is a booty splash that has a crazy hitbox, from what i’ve seen is a good air-to-air.
C.mp is a crouching elbow, think sakura’s cl.mp but crouching, not a low. Her c.mk is a low tho and has great range.

Anti-airs are s.mp (upwards elbow) and HP bolt charge. Some people said her v-skill wheel is a good anti-air as well.

We haven’t seen the dashes and v-skill dodges side by side to truly judge, i’d assume the v-skill ones have less range but better recovery for ticks and whatnot.

Fireballs are like Poison’s from what I can tell, but it’s hard to know for sure coz they might be holding them. Where one is quick but stationary, one is mid speed/mid distance, and one is slow and goes around Juri’s fireball distance. All get more range and hits when charged i assume.

I personally haven’t played yet so all what’s said above is just what I saw in vids and/or read somewhere.

I’m guessing her fireballs are going to be like Poisons only in how deceptive they can be used.

I couldn’t imagine her fireball being useful full screen except to just nullify fireballs from other characters. I haven’t seen any footage where her fireball can go full screen, so I imagine it’s mostly going to be used for close range setups and midscreen against other fireballs to beat shotos to the punch in terms of frame recovery after the fireballs collide. This was something Poison was easily capable of, and I’m sure Capcom isn’t just treating Laura as a joke character like Dan though their fireballs SEEM similar.

Lauras projectile seems mainly for setups and being used as an anti projectile. Shes a grappler, shes not using it to chuck plasma.

Her V-skill is not automatic CC on hit. Unless it’s only in V-trigger? Unless they meant it is a CC when it’s a counter hit.

It’s CC when counterhit yeah.

j.HK seemed mainly for AtG rather than AtA for me, but very good at it.

her normals look ridiculous, best in the game at mid/close range it looks like. no other char has safe pressure like that, and is the elbow special actually safe? Pretty unreal when you consider cr.mk xx fireball is unsafe, and it doesnt put you in range of a command grab either
