What exactly is the problem? Send me a PM and I’ll try my best to help you, as I also had a lot of problems with MAME when I was starting up. I’m also looking for Bakumatsu players to play, so I’ll be def. into playing you if you’d like. (Plug for PMs guys!)
My experience is very few people are patient enough to host on “waiting games”, and wait for an opponent to show up. Many people will either IM players they already know or hang around public servers looking for a game. The community is small to begin with, and only 1/2 to 2/3 of those within the LB2 community actually use the p2p client. If you want to find opponents I recommend you not restrict yourself to p2p only. Godweapon, and Daroms are the most active east/mid coast servers for LB2. I’m not sure about servers on the west coast.
When i went to play network game i saw a person waiting to play Last Blade 2 and i clicked to connect with them but it didnt go is there a waiting time for it to connect to and how will i know if it is going thru.Because i clicked the person that was waitng to play but i dont know how to connect i enter there IP number and there name but than what just wait for it to connect.
You’ll get a sound, but to host you’ll need to not be behind a router/wireless (unless you’re willing to port forward, theres a thread of that somewhere.) I feel I may have given you the wrong impression though. Most people set up times to fight, etc. by contacting each other or using IRC’s chat. They don’t sign in looking for games on P2P usually.
