down+fierce also beats lariat if you hit his fists.
Jumping fierce beats it clean. Hit that fucker right in the head.
Giefs PPP Lariat is different than his KKK. PPP Lasts much longer and hits more times
I don’t have a video, but I every now and then I get hit. Basically, if you do an ex rush uppercut, and he does a lariat such that you get hit at the edge of his range on the first possible frame, he’ll hit you on the 2nd rotation before you can finish the uppercut.
Timing is very iffy though, and more than 90% of the time you should be able to land the uppercut cleanly.
Ex upper is perfect. I intentionally eat the third rotation and then cr. Jab, cr. Jab, headbutt.
at the right range when the lariat is about to end, you can lp dash straight and hit him… then immediately jump back fierce. if he’s a scrub gief he’ll throw out a lariat and you’ll clock him flush in the face with the jumpback fierce
lp headbutt can beat larriet if done at the right time or the right distance. The timing is iffy if you are at close range but you you are at a distance…do the headbutt so it hits gief’s knuckles and you will override it
