Hey all. Outside of like 15 people on here from the Midwest (and about 20 or so in the Brawl forum who don’t like me ), I’m pretty unknown. However, I’ve run a bunch of small local tourneys and a couple large tourneys with quite a few games (DDR, tons of fighters, Magic/Yu-Gi-Oh at a local comic store, etc.), and I wouldn’t mind getting some HD Remix tourneys going on XBox Live. You know, outside the 8 player single-elimination ones. So I figured I’d get some input.
Would you be interested in this at all? And, if so, what night would be good? I’d think a night during the week (i.e. Monday through Friday) would be best as it lets people travel for other tourneys. And, you know, gets you out of the house on the weekends. I wouldn’t be entirely opposed to a Sunday night tournament though, as most people would have that free and you guys could kick someone’s ass online in honor of our Lord or some shit.
What time would be best? I was thinking 9 Central (7 Pacific, 10 Eastern) would be a good place to start and we could work from there if that was to outrageous one way or the other, but input is always welcome.
What’s the easiest way you’d want to do this via the interwebs? mIRC and Bracket Maker come to mind as the obvious, or we could just flood a thread with match results for some epic SRK post counts. I think SRK would prefer the former, but if we only have like 12 to 20 people or even less a thread could work just as well.
Again, I heart input (no homo), so post away. Regardless of how small the tourney is, I’ll probably hold one either late this week or early next and see if it’s something that can be done.
Hi there, check out this “Battle Fantastic” it was a rough first tourney, but ended up pretty good in the end, I would LOVE to do this again, I could REALLY use some help. I learned alot of good tactics for approching a tourny on XBL, and putting those ideas into actual practice. Please let me know if you want on board for “Battle Fantastic II” !!!
