I just read the pm. No feeling hurt. I spoke to jan last night and he feels laredo vs texas is probably to strong right now so we should just keep it in houston for right now. In the pm you sent it said you have 4 players which is fine. I spoke to mikey boy yesterday and he said 2 people on you alls end are confirmed and down for the dec 4 5 vs 5 mm. If you can find a 5th person that would be tight. If not and you feel like 4 is all you need, im good with that to. So it would be Laredo vs Houston Dec 4 and seeing as I spoke to everyone at jans fight night yesterday. 5 players are ready to make this happen. We are just waiting on laredo’s end. So let me know when you find your 5th person so i can start promo for this event and start on the flyers asap!
Ps: Its good you guys have a little drama going. I would have hate for you to create this thread and be a new city and nobody replies/cares and it ends up being a dead thread that I have to find on the 2nd page. Glad to see laredo is making a name for themselves in texas. Need more citys to step up and do the same!

Just like somebody could say you must not have been able to win at older games, which is why you are all about some easy mode SSFIV. Or just like how I could say Soul Calibur is the scrubs retreat. It’s where all the scrubs end up who couldn’t compete in other fighters. But that would be ignorant of me. Only thing you accomplished there, is showing everybody where your mentality is at.
Not everybody enjoys the SFIV/SSFIV engine. I’m one of them. Anybody who knows me, knows I was very verbal about that the day vanilla dropped. Just seems like a step back imo. So I passed on the game. Didn’t even bother to see if I could win or not. That was irrelevant since I hated the engine. But good thing you cleared that up. Now I know why I don’t play SSFIV, because I can’t win… at a game I never even tried to play for competition sakes. Total mind fuck! In other news, I ate Burger King today, because I couldn’t find a parking space for my non-existent Ferrari.
Nevermind the fact that 3S and SuperTurbo/HDR are still played at major tournies nationally. Even CvS2 is being played at the Dallas tourny nov 5-7. But that’s all irrelevant, because Dragula doesn’t play those games. Right… Keep fooling yourself into thinking that SSFIV is the epitome of fighters… and anybody who still plays older games is a glory days scrub who can’t win in SSFIV. I want texas to be ready when I have cali vs texas 2 in april so the only way to get better is by playing the best and seeing were you measure up. Im bringing out some killers for that event so I would like to see laredos top player face off with the cali player im bringing here…

I dont think numbers matter at this point. Its about quality not quantity. Laredo beat 1 of the best players in each city in texas so I think it would be closer matches than you guys think. Im a fan of high level gameplay and something on the line rather than seeing a bunch of casuals all day. Your city represented at your tournament so im sure you will represent again on the 5 vs 5 mm. Its still very early so this gives enough time for who will make the cut to be on the team. Again, the idea i posted seems fair. Go by tournament rankings and include mm in order to make a solid team or just handpick anybody who thinks there ready and that has the money to do it. Simple as that…

Also, can someone explain me the rules of the 5vs5 match? If I lose 2 rounds do I get eliminated and my teamate is next to go or do I have to lose 2 out of 3 games.
