You seem to be purposefully muddling “possible”, “practical”, and “easy”.
it is not possible, in the game engine, to cancel out of a move you chained into.
Since gouken can’t link his lights, this means he can’t do 3+ light attacks at ALL before a cancel into a special, and can only do two light attacks into special if the first is a counterhit and you pull off a 1 frame link into the 2nd 4frame light attack. ( or perhaps some kind of meaty attack, i don’t feel like looking at the frame data for that)
this is what is “possible”
whether a 1frame link is “practical” is up to your skill and if you are online. personally, since I only play online, spotting a counterhit and then 1frame linking to light canceled into a special is not something i’m going to bother with. Especially not with a good chance of pulling a roflcopter into full punish.
for my skill level, I wouldn’t call it “easy”. Execution is my Achilles’ Heal. But then I don’t play seriously. The game is just a good distraction for me.
Now if you want to play around with figuring out obscure meaty attacks or wonky hitboxes in specific instances that can create links that aren’t usually possible… that’s up to you. But I think you should adjust your expectations about how such statements will be accepted. Figure it out in the lab, make a little video of exactly what you are saying you’ve done, and THEN post it. I think you’ll find a much more positive reaction to such posts. Especially so if you can show how it would be used in a practical manner in a real game.

backthrow -> walk forward -> cr.HP reset as late as possible xx HK flip -> kick follow-up as early as possible seems to cross-up on Ryu and Ken who are stand blocking. Some ppl still stand against flips lol. It’s not very reliable tho since it whiffs on crouchers.
On a different subject, this happened to me yesterday:
Guile did a fierce flash kick, I blocked it. I was going to do st. HP, but I did it way ahead of time and got far st. HP, which after I did cr. mp. It gave me a two-hit combo.
Possible either through counterhit (doubt it since he was recovering from flash kick) or hitting on later active frames. 3 active frames, +4 on hit. Hitting on the second or third active frame would let you combo into cr.mp.
Meaning we can do this on wake up? It would technically be worth it, it’s like 200 damage just by itself, not to mention the possibility to do the new st. mp into fb or something like that.
AAND the fact that it has 5 active frames now, meaning hello cr. hp.
Speaking of the new far st. mp.
I’m assuming they are going to be adding more hit stun to it so other combos will be possible from using it. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, frame advantages are done by the assumption you are hitting on the first active frame. It’s really hard to take advantage of in this game since so many moves only have two or three active frames.

Awesome, if they don’t change st. hp it’s going to be awesome. I love that move, I call it the fat hand.
It’s like a small combo on it’s own, it does around the same damage as cr. lk, lp palm lol.
Also, if you want to kill the enemy or finish stunning him, st. mk, lp palm, fadc dj. hk works for decent damage and almost 400 stun.
