Took this off the from page in regards to Delayed Wake Up.
*
-Can only be used on forced knockdowns (such as sweeps and throws).
-Done by pressing any two buttons immediately before being downed. Timing is not necessary, can be done by mashing.
**-When successful, a “Technical” message is shown for the delaying player and wake-up is delayed from normal wake-up by 11F.
-The “Technical” message is displayed 60F before rising. *(from the Arcadia Fighting Game Remix guide)
I still haven’t seen any confirmation if you can or can not use DW after an Ultra.
And as previously thought we can just look for the “technical” message to pop up for our que.
On a side note, can anyone tell me what the frame difference is between quick standing and opting for hard knock down on the current game??
Is there anyone with a technical guide who can answer this, or do I just need to chalk this one up to the game and figure it out myself the hard way???
If you have a good PC and fraps, you can record both animations and play them back frame-by-frame.
That’s actually how people used to work out “frame data.” You’d use a VHS cassette to record a move and then play it back frame-by-frame and actually count how many frames something took to complete.
^ Thanks… I had the PC version on my Mac running it off of Parallels, but my hard drive crashed and I just got it replaced… I will keep that in mind and try it after I’m done re-installing everything… (Protools First
I’ve been just using normals to make up any time gaps…
I was trying to find a set up that = 11 frame difference from quick stand > hard knock down. but TBH I think I’ve seen what I need to see already… I guess I will be taking a week off of work when Ultra launches!!!
Pro-tools! Do you produce music? I do as well, but I use a Laptoaster running Windows with Studio One and have for a few years.
I’ll try setting recording your stuff and counting it off, but no promises… my laptop is pretty old and drops frames when I record so I don’t know if what I give you will be reliable. I can use it to record matches from my battle-log, and brief combo exhibitions but probably nothing “for science.”
hahahah I love it …make sure the DAW is running 100% before researching DWU, hahhaha im wit that…
I haven’t made any new beat since a lil after my kid was born…
I appreciate it. Anything will help until I get my machine back up and running…
As far as music goes, I’m into every aspect of it, except playing instruments. but I did by a piano for my daughters and I try to keep up with them… Maybe I will be decent in 10 or 15 years when I’m 45 or 50 lol.
I wish I could read sheet music at least…I can jam on instruments a bit, enuf to sample some isht into a vst like reason or something…just got a new laptop so im gonna get bak on it…i used to rock fruity loops since like v 2.3 then came sound forge , acid, then all the vst’s, reason…lookin at maschine etc now…oh and mouth too !
Reading sheet music’s a breeze. But honestly in this day in age, you can get by without knowing how.
I’m a classical saxophonist and pianist, and I wrote my entire album (http://evanpattison.bandcamp.com if you want to hear it… yeah a plug, but it’s free) without so much as even looking at a piece of sheet music. I think it’s more important to know music theory, but unfortunately those often go hand-in-hand. There are tons of free resources online if you’re interested in getting started on the subject and it doesn’t take a lifetime of study to get the hang of it.
no doubt , ive been making beats and spittin since at least 98 grew up with all the goodness of r and b down the line , ive written some good pieces too with the help of step editing so yeah its real easy to get by.
