First of all I was answering a question to someone else.

Secondly, all i ever asked for was proof before you started with bullshit and excuses.

Third, I am not able to find any distance where far st.lk comes out and then lets you combo c.lp and then st.lp as she gets out of range. This is from standing. I won’t go into how hard it is to space a 2 hit jumping mp so that cl.st.lk does not come out after the st.lp. Cl.st.lk won’t chain or link into another light attack. So now I am calling bullshit. Anyone can feel free to prove me wrong, i really don’t mind.

Fourth, j.hp/dj.hp > cl.st.mk > sweep doesn’t combo, with or without ch on.

I’d love to be proven wrong.

Dj.hp > st.hp > ex palm fadc 6 hit denjin does more stun than fadc 2 hit dj.mp denjin. 40 more stun, 1 more damage. Much tighter timing.

This show a range increase. Notice that I recorded a kara throw and then an sliding kara throw, put it on repeat, so it’s always going to be one kara, one sliding kara. The first one in the video comparing to the second helps see the range increase.

Yeah, I’ve remembered testing this a while ago. I seriously think this combo is going to change in 20 days though to dj.hp, st. hp, ex palm, new hp palm, fadc, denjin, which is going to do a lot more damage and stun altogether.

Never seen it mentioned before. At point blank against a standing opponent, tiger knee’d tatsus will hit the person while you fly back.

Does it work at all with ex tatsu instead?

I think that is whole other can of worms. I didn’t test ex tatsu really but its char specific. I know Dudley I can only get the first hit of hk tatsu and then ex will fully hit. Then you have Ibuki where where you also get one hit of hk tatsu but ex will whiff. Then Ryu will allow you to land both. Ill test ex-tatsu later when I have some time on Sunday.

Counter hit only works for the first hit in a combo… A counter hit is when you hit someone with an attack during the startup frames of their attack. If you are comboing someone you obviously can’t hit someone out of an attack with your second attack since they are unable to attack.

Howling/slx - EX tatsu theoretically should work where lk tatsu works since thy have the same start up frames, but they have different sized hitboxes so there will be slight variations :frowning:

I really wanna make a master spreadsheet of all his character specifics combos. He’s got way to many and some are really useful. But I just leave it on counter hit while I labbing counter hit combos. Yea I don’t know if they messed with the instant air tatsus or not, but they did seem easier in AE imo. Probably just a placebo effect or something.

Can you turn on inputs? When I tried I got demon flip.

Why wouldn’t that work now…isn’t the new hp palm just the current mp palm? Would the speed up of denjin make that combo work?

I never tried the combo with lk tatsu, just hk tatsu. And im pretty sure a lk tatsu wont land after a counterhit cl.st.mk> cr.lk. And doesn’t hk tatsu have more range than ex-tatsu, if just slightly? And anyways I’m pretty sure it matters more on the opponents hitbox, because after testing this for a while some of the hitboxes do some wonky shit.

just do a f~HK~LP+LK. the “~” there means “shortly followed by” somewhat in the same speed as a plink.

If I remember correctly the HK tatsu and the EX tatsu have about the same range. I’ll check the hitboxes thread.

Yes, the hitbox is what matters, but the frame difference matters because the hitbox strikes their hurtbox at different times.

So at frame 7 someone could be recoiling in such a way that lk tatsu misses but at frame 13 hk tatsu hits.

Think of ex palm dash tatsu combos.

Guy and Dhalsim drop out of Hk tatsu but mk tatsu will land for full hits. Hk tatsu has the longer reach but mk tatsu hits their box earlier to pop them up.

Haha CH st.cl.mp > cl.st.hk > st.mp works on chun midscreen, so tack a palm on there in 2012.

Why CH and not regular hit? Also, did you get the sliding kara?
