Well, I tried, but fraps doesn’t record the hitbox data, only the in-game footage. if I can figure out how to fix it, I’ll post the video here.

However, the LP hitbox seems far from “pathetic.” It goes quite a good distance /past/ gouken’s hand, it’s actually one of his most disjointed attacks.

Yeah I was just gonna say I use it in a lot of situations as a frame trap where it seems that I’m too far away and people want to poke (works well against people who like to press buttons).

wrapped in a very deep looped os, is it a double os? It seems as such, but much more…I call it a dbl os loop because the forward dash portion has a couple of outcomes, the backdash portion does as well…

what does that mean? There are at least 2 outcomes at any point of any focus dash forward or backwards shown from point of origin.

I know its hard to see with my shitty vid quality, bottom line kongo cancel ultra beats any buttons>alpha counter by Dudley, which formerly was believed to kill kongo flat out…

Or you can kongo dudley then have dudley counter right after kongo
we lose everytime. It just flat out wins as a counter killer

I stay in the lab, reveal some anti gouken tech, then counter that tech w more tech…
and its OS Tech…out the box thinking I suppose.

Searched for this, but couldn’t find a 100% answer. How long can Gouken delay his divekick off of G-flip from piano’d/ASAP to last second?

Long enuff to cross up on left side in corner w gflip dive kick with opponent kissing the wall.
not sure how long that that be in frames but,
at that instant being late as fuck is when he crosses up on the left side. Iirc you should be able to do it w each kick.

5-39 frames airborne
27-37 frames you can activate parry, grab, and dive kick
Slide activates on frame 40

So you can delay dive kick 10 frames not including if you go for a late shoto style timing as well.

Look for his leg to start poking out with his slide… Don’t worry about the frame data as much, look at the animations that you can cancel.

Thanks Iam! Was thinking more for dealing with the Delayed Wakeup Mechanic. Seems like we’ll still be able to “faux” safejump then off of our existing setups, might even look like it will hit, giving us that tricky throw when it whiffs.

Yeah we will land before getting hit if you safe jump the normal way… Just be care about the os you pick if you choose to os bc it will come out when you whiff.

There are set ups that allow you to attack late that works on most of the cast… Knowing the manual timings may give us a way out in some situations…

DW is 11 frames and we can delay dive kick 10 frames… I’m pretty sure the dive kick set ups that hit late aren’t strict to being. 1 frame… If DW is a visual cue as soon as they press it, then we should be able to match out dive kick to the cue/non cue.

Not yet from what I’ve seen.

Take a look at the first video, around 30 seconds or so, the Yun player did DW and technical appears while he is still on the ground. Iirc they have to input the DW command as soon as they hit the ground so the timing should be somewhat universal or everybody.

They’re probably gonna take that out. It’s too obvious. Alot of people were complaining at the test sites because that’s an obvious indicator and the person just switches up his attack
