You really can OS just about anything, but everything is so character specific certain OS’ won’t work on certain characters/situations and vice versa.
OS cr. roundhouse is probably Goukens best and easiest OS to use.

It’s basically that lp palm can be used much like an srk in certain scenarios… granted we never got the new hit box for it, so it took me a minute to decipher what they hell they were trying to do and how I can abuse it. Now I see why if they gave lp palm invincibility it might had been a little too strong, even though there’s still not reason tatsu whiffs crouchers.
You’d be suprised without the use of meter, some characters have NO wake up options vs. Gouken and then there are some that have 0 options save Wake Up Ultra, as their EX moves are nullified. They are only left the option of blocking or back dashing. And I repeat this is on almost 70% of the cast or so.
And this is without safe jumping them, but still keeping Gouken safe.

I was suspicious of this and since u posted i been using overly and overtly kn opponents wake nic and safe!
It doesn’t work as a primary on shotos, gen, hawk, Gief, Yun, yang. DeejAy, sagat, cammy, seth, and guile ( I think). Everybody else needs meter and poor El Fuerte he has to Ultra out.
Its almost like for every textbook bad matchup he has he likewise has unconventional lockdown weapons…so lpalm ex tatsu os?
It recovers too slow, you can only buffer the OS and press the button on reaction. It trades with Roses U2 as well but pushes her to the opp side of the screen with only one floating ball. I really use it after resets and corner lockdown. Poor Vega and even Bison without meter :). The list goes on… Ibuki no meter… Honda no meter… Abel no meter… Guy no meter… Sakura no meter… Juri no meter… Blanka no meter… Balrog no meter… Fuerte needs to Ultra… Gouken needs meter… Chun needs meter… dudley needs meter, … They can all backdash but that opens them up for other options.
Basically youll see people going for reversal only when they have meter so you can mix them up better bc you’ve shut down their options. There are a few keys as to how to use it though, thus I will probably have to make a vid or something…
El Fuerte has to block, or wake up Ultra.
I can’t wait to get back in the lab this weekend.

lp palm him when he wakes up or during the first frames of a reset. I’ll make lp palm active when they are getting up pretty simple, but it’s handy.

I just saw IAT with Gouken works good with faux empty safejump timing only when you land immediately do IAT … shit is fresh
And then churn it like butter.
I practice it that way and by doing dj hard kick for a while so I can get the animation timing down and the switch to tatsu.
One thing I’ve learned about all of the Master Gouken’s is they move very well with him and have good execution.
They move both the left and right thumb/hand well.
Since i switched to pad due to wiring short ive seen how easy IAT is , it makes semi decent frame traps say with far mk and cl mp. I guess these are more mixups than fame traps but interesting nonetheless…
Lk IAT seems to have the more instant crossup properties, ex i think is good at hitbox juxtaposing especially after a sweep as now im trying to get as ambiguous setup as possible now with it…
Also trying to use it in footsie range ,say after a block fb…
I use it to end rounds. Throw a fb they can’t block or absorb and air tatsu right after.
Am i the only one here that use ex/lk.tatsu after corner combo? Eg. cr.hp<st.mp<ex–senku<hp.hadou<lp.hadou<lk/extatsu
