Dear Users,

We are pleased to finally announce the long-awaited return of the best online fighting game, KwonHo: The Fist of Heroes!

As you know, KwonHo: The Fist of Heroes is the next evolution of 3D fighting. There are no pre-defined characters in KwonHo; it?s up to you to create your own character, upgrade their skills and attributes the way you want, and then step into the arena to take on all challengers!

KwonHo is back with some brand-new features:

• A new growth system
• Enhanced Team play
• Enhanced matchmaking
• A more in-depth Tutorial
• More Skills!
• More button-mapping options
• A new single player Mode: Shadow Training
• An exclusive, revolutionary technique: The Hero Skill!!

Along with the new features and enhancements, KwonHo will also employ new server technology to help users better connect to each other for games. Because of this, we will begin the service with a second Closed Beta test period.

The second Closed Beta period:
Wednesday, May 9th, to Tuesday, May 15th.
Open Time: 2pm to 11pm Pacific Time.

After the Closed Beta, we plan to reopen the service on May 23rd, transitioning into Open Beta. Barring any unforseen problems, we do not plan on wiping characters created during the Closed Beta.

Remember, a Beta period is a test period. While we hope you enjoy yourselves playing KwonHo, connectivity and other issues may occur. We appreciate your help in ironing out these issues by playing and reporting any issues that you encounter.

The Hero Skill
The newest feature in KwonHo: The Fist of Heroes is radical leap forward for 3D fighting games of its caliber:

The Hero Skill

The Hero Skill is a damaging technique that becomes available once the Hero Gauge is full. The Hero Gauge fills as your character takes damage. To utilize the Hero Skill, press the E key. Your character will perform a multihit, high damage combo.

Each style has its own Hero Skill.

Characteristics:

The first hit of every Hero Skill hits Mid. None of the hits are low, so you have to guard it standing. Each attack will continue in succession, so you have to guard all of the attacks. If you guard the Hero Skill, your opponent will be left wide open for counter attack.

Additionally, you can counterhit the first hit of the Hero Skill, stopping it completely.

At least we won’t have “meter building” since you only get it for being smacked around.
