There actually is a /join command, as well as /where for locating users.
Supers/Ex, u never know. New styles maybe.

I had to play under strenous conditions zz. either way i lost. cant wait for open beta need tourneys late at night when everyone around me is sleep
Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition…
which came after Street Fighter EX.
custom skins would be great.
maybe ijji could put it in at a price u have to pay with ijji coins to upload a model and skin
That would be far too impractical for the developers to do that. Imagine the amount of time that they would need to make it. Maybe if you paid them handsomely, but definitely not at a small price.
That or I would be asking them to make a Kenshiro model already.
Eh, it isn’t as bad as it seems. FPS games (like UT and Quake) let people run stuff like that, and the graphical MUSH Second Life is built entirely around that concept.
The problem would be more with content screening (like the problem some poker sites have; this is a CS issue), bandwidth costs (although I’m willing to bet a clever peer-distributed solution could be arranged), and the fact that it would be undercutting their own profit margin (as they make money by selling in-game items).
Supers? There’s no need for that mess, new styles in the future perhaps.
Selling in-game items is OK with me as long as they are not too powerful and can only be obtained by using real-life money. If I remember correctly, Gunbound sold extremely buff items for only real-life money and it tipped the scales of balance considerably.
Have you guys thought about using elements from the reward systems in VF and Tekken? Like ever so often you might win a larger chunk of money than you would usually get from a winning your match. Or winning items like in VF.
Just throwing it out there…
Actually in Gunbound you can get buff with Gold (in-game money) or with ijCoin. Doing with with Gold only is a considerable grind though. Fortunately, to win, you still have to play well. The nice thing about GB though, is that there are certain channels that basically turn off the buffs, making the gear for looks only.
Unfortunately I doubt KwonHo will have an “Avatar Off” channel. Other than that, it will mostly likely be similar to GB Avatar On, where eventually you will have to buy good gear. It shouldn’t make much a difference whether you grind or use ijCoin; the good gear has high level requirements. Essentially the only difference will be that ijCoin items will just look doper than the Credit items of same upgrade potential. I’m not 100% sure that’s the case. Either way you won’t be able to spend 5 bucks and immediately beast on people.
The whole uploading graphics is probably a no-go; it would take a lot of resources all the way around. I would like it for the Gym logos though…still, it’s unlikely.
Ok here’s the strangest question I think I’ll ever ask about a fighting game. What’s the level cap? If you already answered that question like a million times I’m sorry, just didn’t see the answer anywhere.
Actually, are the forumlas for everything (item bonuses/damage boosts per level/experience and gold gained) available anywhere?
You could do custom content without causing a huge strain on the servers (I’m working on something similar actually), but it’s a question of it it would be worth the investment in manpower – and it almost certainly is not.
Was there any ‘uber’ gear in the CB build, or did we see everything by level 9?
They have those items in the game that will get you 2x experience and another 2x gold. I’m guessing you gotta buy those but they were given as a gift during closed beta.
I don’t remember if it got changed, but some of the mouseover text talks about like a .2 percent boost for skill points or upgrade points etc. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but the upgrades are very real. For example, TK 236 K+G, P, PPPK does 67 at level 1, but at a higher level with strategic upgrades it did like 80+. Using the skill points right will be very key. Luckily, you will be able to reset them.
I don’t know the exact formulas tho.
There is way more good gear. The first weekend I used some desert military stuff, and it was all 6/6 boosted, plus the Fire gloves that were 6/6 defense. When we had the GM challenge I took hardly any damage, and thinking about it now it’s pretty shameful if I lost…I lost twice I think…once was a double ring out tho heh. No gear will stop those.
Even tho the upgrades sound scary good, it’s not like you’ll take your level 25 uber demon into the noob channel. Anyone at level 25 should have some kind of gear to show for it.
The level cap is 40 I believe.
In the CB adding a skill point added .1 percent. 2 skills points was .2 percent. and so on…
lol sorry i forgot about that one
with good reason too
anyway for the ability to create your own custom combo with the available moves for each character?
Like each move costs a certain amount so the longer the combo the more it would cost?
I don’t want this game to have infinite or game breaking combos. There are some suggestions that would be outrageous changes to the game engine. I just want to give them some feed back for realistic improvements… but people suggesting adding super moves and supers bars or giving custom combos? That’s ridiculous and changes the way the game is meant to be played.
If you want custom combos or super moves, well there are plenty of games with that already.
I agree with gl0ry. CCs or supers would be game breaking. Fights are already short anyways. When people get meter all it’s going to be is some turtling and boring clock play, and one right guess = win. No supers = people actually fight.
Here is some of what I think needs improving:
-If the lag is going to be bad, the match should never happen.
-Tournament mode. I think tournaments should be a way of determining rank. Streak matches are partly based on luck because anyone of any skill level can fight you. Also, maybe have special tournament holidays where you can win items. MAYBE even have the points in the holiday double to your score on the tournament system. Maybe the ranking system should be like the APEX system.
-Gyms, and a gym bank
-Tag mode , just like tekken tag
-Wider side steps
-Some type of move that gives judo frame advantage, this will actually set up a very dangerous throw game. Maybe some type of longer ranged command throw but to do this, judo might need a new moveset so this may not be possible.
edit:
If there is a tournament mode, I think ranked ones should be round robin. Everyone is playing on seperate machines instead of one arcade cab so things will be quicker.
ccs would be $
alot better than seeing the shame old shit over and over
dont need like 13231232321 different moves in one combo just a customization ability so that your fighter is your own.
What’s really needed is a few more moves per character, and another couple of styles…
