I lost so many matches because I was just trying to sidestep stuff and figure out when to and when not to. The benefit of being a closed beta. They will delete our characters anyways so might as well figure out and test different strategies without hurting my record lol.

I hope they go live though, that means more pub scrubs to beat on, they seriously fall for c.k+g > c.k+g > juggle, every time then proceed to shout cheap, especially when all they try to do the whole round is string you into a ring out.

What I love is the ones who Wake-up Kick every time. For JDs just Block then 36PPK~66~2P repeat. the 36P beats out everything but a block haha and launches on Normal Hit. Then you get to hear “cheap/spammer/noob/hax” as a reward for punishing them.

Hurr I think I found a glitch (or an ugly behavior, anyway):
The game does not accept input on anything until after the round starts. Sounds normal, right? It is, unless you’re holding Guard to block at the start of the match. :\
Those JD combos are hot fire. Got them out a couple of times on random people and they were just all “wesdsdfts where the hell did my life go?”. Good shit.
Damn… Does that mean the full version will be out soon?

He’s the highest ranked person in the game at the moment and from what I read the biggest win streak so far, at least according to the ranking. Gratz
He’s good but for total rankings I’m still #1 and I’m almost positive I have the highest streak in the closed beta so far.
Those live streak update things on the right are inaccurate, I don’t know how they work but sometimes people are on there and their highest streak wins aren’t even close to that update.
it works by how much wins you have in a session not how many you win in a row without losing.
and all games count toward that except practice
