only arcade around here remotely worth playing at is probably cove… more ppl play when compared to other arcades in the dt k-w area (i forget the name of the place)
there’s not much competition here. a few guys play 3s, i think i saw a few semi-decent mvc2 players, ppl play ggxx (i couldn’t tell you if they’re good or not) and there’s T5 there too (once again, i see ppl play, but i know nothing of the game to tell you if they’re good or not)
i drop by cove at random… usually after work (b/w 7pm - 11pm)

cool, nah I don’t play 3s, I’m kind of a n00b at 2d fighters for the most part, like I know the basics and I can do the moves, but I’m still working out combo ish and all of that, I’d prolly get ruined by most of the asians at UW, haha… I’ll probably go check it out and scrub it up a bit sometime tho, a few of my friends go to UW
actually, if you know basic moves, you might not do too bad… there are some god awful players too…
there’s a few decent players, and then a few annoying players (chun namely) :arazz:
but the ppl who are pretty good rarely play (especially now cuz of midterms i guess)
yea, I’m bogged with mid-terms right now, but I’ll head up in the next couple weeks, I have MvC2 and GGXX#R (is it reload at the cove?) on xbox right now, so I’ll practice up on them and give it a shot… I’ve had MvC2 for a while, but I’d prolly get eaten by an experienced player as my team’s Ryu, Ken, and Akuma, lolll
btw, is there anywhere I can get a good stick in KW?

your best bet is to find someone in your area that’s going back to toronto for the weekend and have them pick up a stick somewhere in the gta

and with mvc2, team shodo rocks … (ok… i know shit about that game) 
jus went to zappers or w/e the arcade in downtown kitch is today… blew $5 on 3s, it’s a sick azz game, I wish I could find it somewhere for my xbox, tried ebgames in both malls, and a few pawn shops, nadda…
they also have SC2, but I’ve played that out, and there was KOF 98, and some asian guy who spoke almost no english, lol, after we switched playing solo from KOf 98 to 3s a couple times we had a played a few rounds of KOF 98… the sticks are brutal tho, qcb/qcf was pretty hit and miss, lol, so it was kinda sloppy… eventually I won and he said ‘the joysticks are too crazy’ and left, lol… I’ma hit up the cove next week, see what all goes down thurr, I’ll have to brush up my GGXX tho

I’ll be in Waterloo from Dec 12-15. I’ll hit up waterloo U cove for sure to play some fluke strike.
yuhin; the only ppl that i see at cove relatively consistantly is jack (for 3s and dota), no mvc2 regs… but there seems to be a consistant crowd for T5. (btw, since i mentioned dota, yes, there are still computers there)
pokeguy; i don’t think there’s a cvs2 in kw. zappers is the only other arcade that i know of in the area (and it’s pretty trash from what i’ve heard), so it’s safe to say that there isn’t one around.

Yea i go to Laurier too. I never seem to be able to make it down to the cove though…too busy with other shit. If you guys wanna set a weekend after new years we all line up and play some games i’m games i’ll probably be down. Main game is MvC2 but i’ll play any thing (poorly).
Come over for Cove nights next term! They’re kinda like Orbit’s Unlimited Nights, but… well… at Cove. I guess I’ll just post up details about Cove nights in this thread starting next term. There are usually a few people at MvC2 during Cove nights.
