Korean sticks vs modded JLFs?

I see a lot of people (particularly Tekken players) swear by Korean sticks.

My question is what if you just mod a JLF with:

OR

Doesn’t this pretty much just replicate a Korean stick experience? Bat top, round gate, hard spring?

Seems to me at that point only the microswitches will remain stock which I honestly cannot see being a factor at all.

Nope, Not at all how to get a JLF to feel like anything but a modded JLF.
Round gates + Koval actuator = lots of grinding and wearing out on your JLF.

Most Korean sticks use a rubber grommet and not a spring for centering
it creates a very different feel

Okay so I’ll switch out the JLF for a K-stick then.

AWUK stock these for JLF mounting: https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/crown-cwl-309mj-jms-st25-arcade-joystick.html

Would you recommend either of these or should I look elsewhere for a true test of the K-stick experience?

You want the CROWN CWL-309FJ-JMS-ST35, it will install anywhere a Japanese Joystick could install.
