Has anyone tried switching to Omron V152-1A5/6 from the Gersung A3’s that come in the Crown sticks?

On Arcade Stick Indonesia page, the Omron V152-1A5 are described as ‘Medium’ and the 6 as ‘Hard’. Are Gersung A3’s considered ‘Soft’ in comparison?

I’m asking in concern to 309MJ. I recently switched to it from JLF and it’s my first K-Stick and I love it so far. Just curious on how I can improve it. I also wanted to try a Golden Crown Silicone Clear 35A(ShinEtsu) grommet but he seems to be out of stock.

Hey all, got a question for any switch gurus out there.

I have some older Gersung A2 switches that I got years ago. Most likely they came with my Myounshin/Air bag levers. Anyway these are my favorite switches.

Does anyone know if this switch has changed over time or if there are known bad batches?

I’ve attempted purchasing backup/replacement switches, but they do not feel the same as mine. The newer ones I’ve purchased have a much lower activation and I feel are not usable. The replacements I purchased came from Focus Attack and another shop that I can’t recall now.

I recently played on my buddies Ettoki, his came with a Taeyoung lever equipped with A2’s that feel like my old ones.

Thought this was strange and figured I’d ask.

asked this in the general Q&A thread, but I’ve not gotten an answer in it.

Anyone know what revision the Myoungshins that FA sells are? I know Myoungshin recently did an revision to their Fantas that makes them a little more harder to mount in Japanese cases unless you have something like either a Kowal plate or a Crown 309 plate. If they’re confirmed selling the new versions, looks like I’ll be placing a order with ETokki for a Taeyoung Fanta unless they’re confirmed that a 309 plate will fit.

Does anyone know where I can wholesale order Korean levers?

Ordered the Fujin v3 and Kaze which both came today. The Fujin now comes with Gersung GSM-V1623A3 switches.

I noticed the Kaze came with GSM-V1623A3KZ switches which I’ve never seen before. I ordered an extra set of these as well (they were like $1.50 more than the standard A3s). Haven’t used them yet, but they seem a bit snappier than the standard A3s. The activation points and tension are even across all 4 so better quality as well - which is something I’ve rarely seen with Gersung switches.

Just curious if anyone’s used them before and what their thoughts were.

Kaze customized switches looks like, from translated listing:

The Kaze switches are customized in no shape or form. It’s all hype, man. The description on IST is utterly ridiculous, google translate issues put aside, and is written by incompetent people to say the least. I’m sure they can do better but they chose not to. So what is it all about then? Well it’s been already answered, on this same thread before. Many switch companies propose “steel” or “stainless steel” hinge levers. Kaze is just a run of the mill Gersung A3 rated16A, with an extra “KZ” marking (pumps the price up ) and a different alloy option for the hinge ( supposedly stiffer) compared to stock. That’s all .

Anyone making gromets for Samducksa SDL?

Lol so sad that it’s 2019 and people still be asking the same old shit. Lol A3KZ is an A3 with a reprinted name. Ppl believing that it’s different are the same people lining ASI full of money lol.

Today on Chanels stream I saw that he was testing a new Lever.
On the first look it was a Fujin v3 but acording to chat it was a “saenew lever”
Anybody got info?

I wonder the same

From his own comment it’s just a new lever, he didn’t mention the actual lever itself.
It could be custom, heard that’s popular over there.

It’s been over a year, has there been any updates the pas korean magenta?

Helloy guys i have a question. I just making my own custom stick with korean 35mm hole and i’ll buy a taeyoung fanta lever. Whats is the recommended height between top of the control panel and top or lever ?. Is the recommended one top of the control panel and top of the collar at same line ?ty

hi guy, this is my first time here. i would to know if anyone is selling the golden crown kit from ASI?

and @TekkenKazi how do i contact you about the delrin for crown?

Ok, just a little update, OTTO DIY made a prototype custom OPTICAL hayabusa body. Well it’s really a copy except for the housing for the V2(hybrid korean grommet style) and V5(typical japanese ball&socket) modules :

This being said OTTO DIY already proposed custom restrictor gates for hayabusa standard AND optical versions :

Hello I am new here and have a question about the Fujin v2, can I replace the Battop? If so with which? Thanks in advance

Alas you are mistaken, the creator of the lever in the link you gave ( Korean arcade parts discussion ) is not SuperHowarang at all, it’s BANDITS (confirmed by him), the guy who did the Sanjuks and all sorts of other fabulous arcade parts. He did this Fujin Mod for the V2 version and even did one for the Fujin V3. The pic posted otoh at the end of your post is of course from SuperHwoarang, but he came in the game much later and got inspired from Bandits’ creation for the collar design , at least for the external aspect of a hybrid half-collar/full collar (in other words a collar which can fit a japanese panel, offer support for the shaft at full throw almost as solid as a classic full collar, but still not protrude above due to a slimmer top half section).
SH’s collar differs from the Sanjuks (Sanjuks offers many flavours of collars btw) internally as the SH has vertical walls so all the load is put on the top rim of the collar, whereas with the Sanjuks, the load is distributed on the slanted internal wall of the collar, just like in commercial K-levers. Notice the CNCed delrin body by Bandits, you can’t see it on the pic you have but it doesn’t have any nubs and risers on the underside for securing the switches as you’re supposed to fasten Airbaguy’s Fujin plate directly to it, the plate in question supporting the switches instead. SH otoh never made custom bodies, he uses commercial ones .

Sanjuks modded Fujin

Sanjuks

SH

Actually Bandits offers a couple variations on his Sanjuks V5 joystick, such as explained on his blog.
The collar I was talking about , which follows a HYBRID concept (then copied shortly after by SH) permits to mount an “almost” full collar but in a japanese 24mm hole panel due to the protruding slimmer top end of said collar, which is very practical. It’s the same type as the one in Bandit’s FujinMod2 and 3.

Alternate V5 collar (you can see it’s a V5 due to the “Omron V-5” marking) :

FujinMod2 (the one posted by Phantomnaut, erroneously tagged as being a SH prototype) doesn’t seem to have any visible markings.

FujinMod for Fujin V3 otoh has “F-3” on the collar and in the body internal edge (grommet cavity) though there is a smaller collar variation that exists too with “-1mm” diameter variation.

Bandits’ FujinMod3 collar details & variation, notice the zone that clamps the outer section of the grommet is shaped as in the pre-2019 revision Fanta collar, a flat surface :

fujinmod3 lower body grommet cavity details :

Bandits FujinMod3 body grommet cavity(left) Vs (right) original FujinV3 cavity by IST (which is the same internal design as Fanta 2019 revision) :

Now something intriguing is that Coorejam has released pics of his gen 2 “coorejam” lever, but it is plagiarizing severly both of Bandit’s levers Sanjuks V5 and FujinMod/FujinV3 all in one :

notice how even the bottom opening, a squircle , as seen in the Sanjuks V5 body is reproduced by Coorejam.

(fun trivia: A squircle was used also by Yo-O for Crown’s 301dx infamous “circle square” gate, but the shape this time wasn’t very well defined and too close of that of a pure circle. On cafenaver, it is said that Yo-O’s infiltration lever project was partially based on that of his friend Bandit’s designs, just for the info. )

Comparison of Airbaguy’s FujinV3 , Bandit’s Fujinmod3(F-3) and CoorejamV2(proto not yet released)

in a nutshell, Coorejam V2 clones partially a Sanjuks V5 but uses a switch plate that mimics the one in Fujin3( Bandit’s Fujinmod uses the genuine Fujin plate from Airbaguy, as it is only a “mod” kit). No one knows what Coorejam’s V2 switch spacing or collar dimensions are yet, but the lack of originality in his R&D is striking to say the least, given that his “V1” was just a box standard Crown CDP with some crappy Kacon switches replacing the Gersung.
