I will be in Korea from June 2nd to July 1st and I was looking to play some SF4 while I was on vacation here. I’m from California, and I am a student.
I will be primarily in Cheongju, and will be in Busan, Jeju-do, Seoul for a week each. Most of the time Cheongju though.
Can someone break down arcades and competition for me? How is it different then in Tokyo? Ideal times to play? Etc. It would be greatly appreciated. I think I am a pretty solid player (got up to A rank in Shibuya) so I’d like to hang out with some of you guys 
and play some SF4. Your hospitality will be greatly appreciated.

hey man. all of us who post here are situated in seoul. busan is like 6 hours by bus away but they have a bunch of players there too? i think “laugh” who is an actual KOREAN can give you more details on the arcades they frequent
seoul has a few arcades… we mostly go to isu arcade and the one at noryanjin station i think… when are you in seoul?? i’d like to get a friendly money match goin’ on! unless that’s offensive, then we can just get some casuals. but i wanna play some japanese level doods!
i DON"T think korea should be as good as japan. i have no idea but it’s just a hunch haha but our best guy is this dude named poongko and i honestly think he’s like on justin wong’s level or something. so maybe he’ll give you a challenge if you whoop our asses
sadly, the better players don’t post on srk so we can’t exactly get in contact with them. but laugh knows all of them and he’s hella good himself

also, if anyone ever wants to go to apgujung (on line 3) to play some 3rd strike and sf4, i can give directions. from isu, its about 30 minutes but its probably best to take someone with you though cause you might not find any competition.

I dunno what is taking Korean customs so goddamn long. I got the paper work for my stick last week and they still haven’t told me if there is any tax I need to pay and they haven’t sent it over to me. I don’t think the Korean customs like me very much.
However, the hori stick I have is working decently now. The fierce kick button is responding now. I’ll hit you up later today Tao.
