Seems like everyone got hit with the busy bat, but I was just thinking that we should establish days that work for everyone. Like if weekdays could possibly work (doubt it …) or if friday night/weekends are the go to times. hopefully we can get this running soon, there’s been a lack of salt in my diet lately xD. @Jhino. had to restart the poster since my computer crashed >.< but I’m gonna try and get it done asap. I think it’ll help start the ball rolling if we get some ads out there
Yea weekends are def the way to go. i’m thinking fri/sat nights. I had my flyer done, but i didn’t get a chance to post it up because my job took me away for some training and i haven’t been home since… Here are some things we have agreed on:
Entrance fee: W10,000
Location: Lazy Diner (need someone who can speak korean to talk to the manager/owner)
Frequency: Bi-monthly (I think this is what we had all agreed on)
I think we should alternate games. I vote first one should be either 3S or MVC3, then we can switch next time.
I vote for AE & marvel!..lol I really only play AE, but I’ll come out to chill regardless of what games we run. I do like the alternating idea.
You should bring multiple games all the time just in case. For example if the turnout is rather lot, like 10 ppl or something, maybe you could get an AE, Marvel, AND 3s tourney in. Also bringing them for casuals would be fun too
I do like the multiple game idea. The restaurant only has a PS3, which i don’t have one so we will have to use the games from one of our members if they don’t mind. I’m sure we can ask the owner if he could buy the games and we can give him a bigger portion of the pot so that he makes up for the investment. I know the restaurant is ok with people bringing their own games and controllers to play. They do not charge anything to use their gaming system and tv. With that being said i think that casuals would be a good idea, we would just have to plan out the time and dates.
I would be down to pitch in a little bit for things like 3S and whatnot. Does he have any games there already? Also I can bring MvC3 and SSF 4 for PS3. I have AE but not on disc so idk how that would work transfer wise
You might talk to the manager/owner and see if you guys can bring additional setups.
I have the disc ver. of SSFIV:AE and I’m cool with bringing it down (it’s the ps3 copy). It’s possible to share-ware dlc on the ps3 but it’s an annoying process when you want to deactivate psn accounts, especially if you have your account on multiple consoles. So I don’t really recommend it for this. As far as setup goes, if we want to run casuals we’ll probably need more than one console so we can do that on the side. How many tvs does the manager have again? was it just one? I’d be ok with bringing a tv…but the tv I have is a big tube from like the 90s and it straight up sucks >.<
As for dates, I’m down for any weekend of the year. I usually just crash after work on friday and play ranked/endless anyways.
Well the last time i was there i saw two tv’s, but the restaurant only has 1 ps3. The games that he has are tekken tag and some racing game. I think the racing game is grand tourismo.
so someone will need to bring along another console. well i could possibly bring my ps3 so we could use both tvs. Unless someone wants to bring in a xbox for variety.
