Hey what’s up everyone. I am planning to come back to Seoul hopefully sometime in Oct or Nov. If possible I will be looking for a cheap place to stay and some (under the table) English Teaching gigs so I can stay for a few months or longer! If anyone has any leads it would be much appreciated.

LOL, dude, just talk to Ryan, buy some replacement parts off him. That and an allen wrench is a LOT cheaper than buying a new TE. And it’s not that hard to replace stuff on those things either.

and how long would it take to get from daegu to seoul? I heard there’s like a train or something, cause I’d like to hit up cafeID sometime on a weekend or something.
The trains from Daegu to Seoul takes 4 hours.

As Corey mentioned, you can just replace the parts. If you can make it out to Gangnam, I can take apart your stick and clean it up like brand new, but I don’t have any grease for the JLF. And you’re better off buying a replacement sanwa jlf joystick which is like 25,000krw? Just a heads up.
We just revived laugh’s seitmitsu’d out TE last night and now it’s working grrrr-reat.
