I just made it to south Africa in the story. I’m not a fan of his the story being told in this game. Most of it is on tapes and in cutscenes no one likes to talk unless it’s Ocalot and Miller. I hate how silent Big Boss is most of the time.

I bet Kojima invited Kiefer to the studio and threw a 500 pages long script on Sutherland’s table, and Kiefer was like: "If you want me to read all this crap, it will cost you $20 million."
Kojima went to the Konami executive board and was like: “I need $20 million more, in order to complete my vision!”, they went like: “No.” and that’s how Kojima left Konami.
