Which do you think’s a better Xmas gift?
For who? Noob? Hardcore player? Online warrior? Do you have a local scene?
Both are good games but very different from each other.
KOF XIII has notoriously bad online if you live in the USA because Americans have ghetto internet. Offline it’s a great game that can be very rewarding if you put time into it.
P4A has great online, but is an anime-style fighter like Guilty Gear and Blazblue. That turns some people off. It’s very noob friendly because people who know nothing can mash A over and over again and get auto combos that make them feel like they’re doing something.
Can’t go wrong with either one.
Both games would be an excellent Xmas gift, and both have great replay value up to boot. It all depends on how you feel about those games in general. Do you want a simplistic (but technical in it’s own manner) fighter like P4A? Or perhaps an execution-heavy fighter like KoF XIII?
I would tell you to get P4A simply because the netcode is solid and I’m assuming is more active than KOFXIII’s.
KOFXIII has a history (i mean its the 13th game) and its really really PRETTY. a good game to showcase on an HDTV when friends come over and just smash buttons
P4A is for WEEABOOS and should only be purchased for the intent of breaking the disc
kofXIII
KOFXIII. Just my opinion.
P4A, great game, great online, great single player (lots of game modes).
We don’t know your friend. It’s pretty hard for us to give you gift advice for someone we don’t know.
P4A, KOF a shit.
Both are excellent. It really depends on who it is for. If it’s a casual gamer (nothing wrong with that) P4A is probably better. If it’s for someone really into fighting games, probably just go with the one that has a better local scene. If there really isn’t a local scene for either, go with P4A since it has a better netcode.
If you want to use it on the internets, get p4a.
