The leak has so far been 100% accurate and even said the roster size which is now confirmed even when everyone said a roster that size at launch would be impossible. I feel like at this point, ignoring named characters would be foolish, and Chizuru would be named if she was in the game. DLC is another story, but we won’t hear about DLC for at least a year.
So this game is basically a dream match and not a sequel to the story?

That UI is more painful and soulless than the first wave of character models.
That said, the models have been getting dressed up, and I can’t be mad on the day that all but confirms the list. I’m fucking amazed we got to see Angel this quickly honestly.
- I agree that the leak has been accurate so far. Especially with the surprisingly inclusion of Angel and more importantly the accuracy of the size of the roster, however I’ve seen too many leaks in the past be not completely accurate, but pretty damn close. Also, not to mention that the characters it’s been accurate on so far hasn’t exactly been out of left field except Angel. Chang has been in every KOF except 11-13, and he was worked and had a working sprite for kof 13 before he was ultimately scrapped. So that’s where my hesitance to take the leak as gospel stems from. *
But Chang was on ‘Prisoners Team’ and has a prisoner’s jumpsuit. Which is a really specific thing for a fake leak to guess at.
The new trailer confirms it’s a new chapter in the story.

You could guess from the leaked list. Too many new faces and unknowns for it to be a dream match.
Looking a bit better. Angel is in, so I’m happy about that. I’ll have King and Kyo to fall back on as 3rd teammates, but I’ll be waiting for someone more my style to go with Angel + Leona.
- Leona’s Movelist looks the same from KOF XIII. I was hoping she would get the ability to plant the earring on the opponent back… especially if she could detonate and make it unblockable (I think that was a thing in 2K2 UM).

They’re thinking about undoing the “Max Mode” Requirement on EX moves.
