Itās just 2002. I hear BALA isnāt that strong in KOF98. Since itās the more fundamentally sound game, I only really respect how well someone plays 98. For some reason, although Emil is pretty solid as a player (although heās pretty rusty now), he likes 2002 more and thinks itās less busted than 98 (at least based on an old conversation I had with him a few years ago.) Such a mysterious person.
I have no idea why you throw away games doing random D Hienshippukyaku with Ryo. I just donāt understand whatās going on in that head of yours when you make that decision.
You must be that Ultrosā¦honestly I couldnāt understand what you were trying to do in that match. Was the strategy to make me fall asleep?
I say this because there was no offense from your end and I thought maybe you were suffering from some execution problemsā¦So, I just rushed in and tried to get the matches over with.
Edit: And yes Iām pretty rustyā¦actually there is something wrong with fightcade for me, it frameskips way more than ggpo did and I find times when players are warping all over the screen and I canāt move. Very frustrating and Iām thinking of quitting fightcade because of it.

This could work but itās more likely that all canon fights will happen in the story mode and the arcade mode will have no rival fights
The devs for Fightcade are working on their program so theyāre going to use a later/better version of Final Burn Alpha that doesnāt run games like old GGPOās FBA booty. We just donāt know when the ETA for that is. I think thatāll cure some of the problems youāre having.
I was thinking it had something to do with spectators entering. A lag spike would occur, usually with the sound stuttering. Following that, there would be about 5 seconds of severe frame skipping where I canāt help but run away until it dissipatesā¦but while Iām waiting for it to go away, opponents rush me down, as if they donāt experience it on their end. I donāt understand.
Yes, and talking about story mode, I hope that now this mode is not as disappointing as the KOF XIII one. It had a big potential but left a badly told story.
that is bullshit. straight up certain controllers you will not be able to compete at a high level with. It is just common sense. Give a professional fighting gamer a third party n64 controller and they wonāt be able to compete. I never advocate against complainingā¦I was born with 1 hand and use a pad (a high quality hori hc4) and Iām tearing it up on Garou and other fighters. But sometimes a carpenter just needs new toolsā¦
Okay well obviously ruling out fucking horrible nonsense like a Guitar Hero guitar or random obvious poor quality 3rd party controllers that donāt work, it doesnāt matter if you play on pad, keyboard, or stick, none of those TYPES of controllers are outright hindered for competitive play.
some people just canāt perform well on certain controllers⦠well of course there is the human potential, but if it feels wrong and clunky, then the player will never play as well as they should on it.
Reogeosrk, maybe you do need a new controller that you are comfortable with. if you think your controller is fine then it is just about practice and having confidence in yourself. donāt count out the importance of confidenceā¦you need it in spades to be good in this genre anway, since you must overcome your opponent in mind and body (performance)
