You’ve looked at Cthulhu’s being and not been driven to madness? lol.
On other things, I don’t recall if I’ve pondered this here but how do you guys think they will they handle EX moves for Angel? EX starters affect the unchain til she does a finisher (Ala XIII Kyo’s Dokugami chains)? Or individual EX moves that would more rapidly deplete her Max mode? Or something else?
From XDZW I also like that they actually create artwork for every new costume, so even the character’s portrait changes in the fight screen.
How is Capcom so cheap they won’t even do that? Capcom = Shit company.
Nope, there’s already perfect comparisons for all of those characters:
Brazel is K’
Jack is Saiki
Lynn is Yuri
Legend is a mix between Geese and Takuma
Shirley is Goenitz
Kuya doesn’t have an equivalent
Also King of Fighters is made by a smaller studio, with little experience in using detailed full 3d characters. With that, KoFXIV is way more impressive visually than SFV.
And when the development of KOF XV starts, SNK Playmore won’t even have to do much work the next time around because most of the cast has already been made. All they’ll have to do in terms of returning characters, is to work on them even more graphically in which SNK will choose to bring back as the staff will get more experience with 3D.
The only thing they’ll have to do from scratch is coming up with newer backgrounds & of course, more characters that didn’t appear in XIV, like Chizuru, Takuma/Mr. Karate, Heidern, Vanessa, Chris, Shermie, Yashiro, Kasumi, Jhun Hoon, Shingo, Blue Mary, Ryuji Yamazaki, etc.
Nak isn’t a ninja, she’s an priestess and warrior of Kamui Kotan, based off the Ainu people of Japan. So rather than a ninja she’s more of a tribal warrior. Andy could be the third ninja there though.
It seems they’ll be revealing 2-3 per week and total of 28 characters are revealed till now (excluding joe).
Now only 22 character remains n incase they keep releasing 2/3 characters per week, the whole roaster will be done 6-7 weeks so the the only thing that’ll be left is a release date.
Hopefully we may get a release date in early may or during the important meeting for kof xiv which will be held on 24th april or 26th april i think
Man, can you imagine if SNK brings the entire 50 character cast to EVO? That’s guaranteed to gain public attention since the roster will be finished and all that’d be left to do is polishing the game up until its release, both mechanically (hitboxes, hurtboxes, netcode,…) and visually (textures, shadows, shades, lighting model,…)
@Otaku_kid True. A good hypothesis based on what we’ve been getting so far. SNK did say a while back that all characters were confirmed and playable to some degree in their dev build in their headquarters, though the characters had a variety of things missing (basic textures, sounds, hitbox inaccuracies, etc).
Regarding a dream match (of the non-canon variety), back in the day, SNK aimed to do one at the end of their storyline sagas, that usually spanned 3 games. Obviously things are a little different with them these days, and technically XIII was the end of the Tales of Ash, so KOF XIV should have been their dream match. Though KOF XIV is kind of looking like a canon dream match (due to the final boss’ powers), so maybe we’ll see all sorts of characters till the end of this saga (KOF XIV - KOF VI)?
Your counting is off. If we have 22 yet to be (officially)revealed, and SNK are revealing 2 to 3 characters a week, the roster will be finished in 7 to 11 weeks.(7 weeks assuming Cthulhu isn’t revealed in any trailer and we get three characters every week from here on. And 11 weeks assuming we get two characters a week from here on and Antinov and Cthulhu are revealed together)
