Everything so far indicates that the leak is true so the ā€œinitialā€ 50 might not include Vanessa. However, DLC hasn’t been excluded yet so she might yet make an appearance like some characters in Maximum Impact did.

Is it too much too ask that I just want too ā€œBODYBODYBODYā€ people with the GOAT boxer?

I think people were traumatized from 2000 Vanessa infinite, 2002og Vanessa 2 meter 70% from 50/50s, XI Vanessa infinite, and etc.

Real talk, I’d like to see her back and she is also one of my favorites but I’m still really contented with the cast. If she were to come back, I want her to have a more ā€œnormalizedā€ timing to her cr.B cr.B chain, have her 02/02um f.A style overhead and not the KOFXI one where the second hit was the overhead, and give her 2002og style movement and cancel windows/properties. I think 02um was a bit overkill by taking away her cancelability of her sweep. KOFXI chaining cr.B cr.B felt really good, but I wasn’t fond of her new f.A overhead nor did I like how slow her teleports felt compared to 02og and 02um.

That probably means they’re using the same trick as Capcom where certain parts are made to disappear depending on the side the character is facing.

Yeah I hope Vanessa returns. I don’t even like using boxing characters and she was one of my favs of KOF.

one thing I’m really curious about is if anywhere juggle moves are present in this new engine. I liked their implementation in KOF XIII and it would be rad to see them return.

I’m okay as long as we don’t see KOF2001 Benimaru infinites with them or something like XIII Vice/Takuma combos. I don’t think I want to even see K’ TK Minute Spike loops from XI either. Something like Elizabeth doing some combo, ends with hit reset, then finish with a single anywhere juggle super is okay though.

EX moves seem to have them currently.
