They should never do close ups of the models ever again. Seeing the trailer in 60 fps makes the gameplay and hitstop look a lot better, and the animations a lot worse. Still kinda worried about how the game will turn out, need to see what match footage looks like.

I stand by my original statement that the graphics donāt really matter as long as the gameplay is good. Thing is with Mr. Street Fighter behind it, I donāt know how far I can trust the gameplay.

But seriously I thought Iād just kinda slap this together real quick to get a comparison.
I would have timed it to the dunk, but it would have been impossible to time exactly the same as in the video so I just timed it at the first frame of cr.C hitting. It looks like rekka is slower but the rekka cancels are much faster. That kinda seems to be a trend in general for the game. Normals look about the same speed startup, special cancels are really fast, everything else is kinda slow like command normal chains. Hopefully the jumps arenāt too slow. The only jump we really get to see is the Iori getting anti aired by Chang jump and itās not the full jump so itās hard to tell.

Not really, everything is still very different, but the speed is somewhat comparable.
Chang actually looks decent. Having said thatā¦ just HOW did they manage to get the game looking so awful? Rising Thunder looks about 10x better.
I think they need to start showing some real extended gameplay soon. If you have anything to redeem yourselves with the gameplay, you need to show it off. If not, then no amount of stalling (unless you want to stall for 3 years and develop another game entirely from scratch) is going to change the fact that youāve got a turd on your hands.

Game still looks like shit. Oh well, it might play good. Cant they use some sort of shaders or something to make the game look better? I know its the be all and end of a fighting game, but sometime it CAN make a difference to the experience especially if its particularly jarring.
I was hoping SNK would hold out on the last bastion of 2D sprite fighting games. I guess GGxrd is all I have left.

I made my peace with 2D sprites back in the PS2 era when it was in a massive decline. I began to care more about 2D gameplay over the sprites. Yea, SNKP shouldnāt stick with a style that will easily bankrupt them if thatās the case.

Thereās always the chance of a delay, but sure thatās all fair. Maybe when the first non teaser trailer comes out it will be a bit more polished in the lighting and post processing area. Who knows, the game is still a long ways away.

I donāt know the reason (probably to fit the 30 seconds video)
listen the voices (tone higher than normal, except the last scream by kyo), and look at the animations
the video is about 5% faster
