To be fair, UC4 multiplayer looks really smooth.
Alt customs are a big possibility, the MI games had alts after all. Also the character on the right looks like Kyo with different clothing, who knows tho too blurry to tell.

The updated artwork looks good. Kyo looks kyo again so maybe the 3D model of him looks different too.

I’m not sure about the kyo one but the Mature one has her Pony on the right side, with her eye patch on the left. I can’t find an image of her like that (pony on other side as her eyepatch) on google images so maybe it is original kof xiv art. I could be wrong tho

EX characters are so lame though. It’s the same character with different clothes and specials, it’s basically just a clone.

Then again, in one of the images of KOFXIV, there is Mature and then there is Kyo (whom is just the older variation of him, rather than “Kusanagi”. The only reason why “Kusanagi” exists in the first place was back in OG 02 to appease Kyo fans. He then comes back in 2003 as a mid-boss character, some wierd-ass illusion made by Chizuru when she was acting silly (possessed by Botan, IIRC).
