Eh, if âDemon Childâ is the new center of this saga, I donât see how that honestly keeps Kensou from being a big, or even more Heroic part. Ash wasnât exactly a hero through most of his Saga, and in the end, Elisabeth could be just as significant to the arc as he was. Couldnât âDemon Childâ and Kensou be 2 different aspects of the same conflict?
Tung could be raising the child that has one aspect of the arc, while Chin has been training the child that encompasses the other side.
Pure speculation on my part, but the whole changing of Kensouâs look for KOFXIII, making him look serious and more representative of his nationality, and such made it look like he was leading up to being a major protagonist of the next saga; or at the least making his side arc take more of the foreground.
Itâd be interesting if he and the new China team protagonist take a Kyo/Iori type of rivalry, but with a new flair because of Kensouâs innate goofiness.
A funny thing: the guy in blue shirts appears two times in the scene, in the same pose. Just by the ring, and on the window on the left top. He really seems to be a stupid dummy character.
The too, shall improve as time goes on, Iâd wager. Theyâre not even properly accepting the lighting and shadows of the scene yet.
I wonder if theyâll be animating when we next see gameplay? The Silhouettes in the Aquarium stage donât move at all, but the sea creatures do. Will the Kâ team church see some life, too? Animal, Human, other? Looking forward to finding out.
Sorry if a bit off-topic but this is the most active KOF Thread I just Noticed SRK had completely ignored 2 things
With the News/BS that surrounded Daigo and Fiasco⌠SRK now seems Willingly ignoring Xian vs Fiasco just because itâs not SF5/KI/MKX/GG/T7 etc.
Winter Showdown was a noteworthy tournament that at least gets mentions of results in the past years⌠but SRK completely Ignored it while posting other Tournament Results like Winter Brawl just because Winter Showdownâs Focus was the Finals of KOFâs Dream Cancel Cup (Closest thing to a Capcom Cup KOF Equivalent) even though there was an SFV tourney there as well (AFAIK)
I feel you. Not sure who was upset more SRK or Capcom, but I think in 2012 or 2013 KOFXIll was the most exciting tournament/finals at EVO even IGN posted that the top game at that years evo was KOFXlll. After that pooofff Kof somehow was really no more at evo.
Iâd really love to know what Billyâs jacket has written on it. Under the Wolf (?) logo and under his hoodie. Usually it would say something like âno smokingâ.
Edit: The part below the logo says âBeware of the Dogâ, and the one under the hoodie probably says âWarningâ.
Anyway Iâm currently playing SF5 and getting good at it and hope to join some tourneys here in my country to win it so that when KOF 14 arrives I would almost drop it like a bad habit in order to play a game that has graphics thatâs worse than PSP just to spite SF as a brand (childish but hey just a thought)
Still Labanâs KOF 14 reviews really give me hope and am looking forward to it more than i am excited to play SF5
Back to Dream Cancel Cup Finals⌠if you ignore the KOF 13 triumvirate of karate kim flame iori, ETâs Clark is certainly the best in the world i was pumped almost the entire time for the finals against Violent Kain (who defeated Misterio of all people in a recent tournament as well)
Sadly the KOF players dream match we never got to see is Misterio vs Bala (whom to my knowledge had never lost a kof 13 tournament outside of evo 2012
I Hope Bala comes back to KOF 14
speaking of Misterio, Bala, Reynald etc. Their dominance ranges on them being to either have a playstyle that tends to demoralize their opponents with long combos or their conversions with every possible move into HD for the biggest damage (and in turn leads to the first example) with KOF 14 being stripped down to mostly sound fundamentals (the most complex combo flow i can think of is jump in, close hard attack, command normal, activate, close attack command normal, EX move or two, Super, SDM) i wonder how Misterio will fare off since heâs the execution conversion master and i kind of remember Laban posting Reynald wasnât nearly as good in 98 as he is in KOF 13
