I doubt this will be a hit. Even if the game is good, only SNK fans will give it a chance, and even a lot of those were burned by XII.

Maybe in the US, just need to get those silly game “reviewers” such as Gamespot, IGN, and GameInformer to give them high reviews so illicit a response of the public. Especially since people no longer try out a game and give an opinion of it and just blindly listen to reviews and numerical scores to completely judge a worth of a game.
only retarded people read and trust reviews about a game they wanna look into… things like blockbuster or online game rental places exist for u to try out any games for $10… if u like the game then buy it if u have the money… personally i finish games in about a week so (considering i don’t play multiplayer shooters or role playing games) i don’t buy any games besides fighting games…

it wasnt far fetched to think they were being worked on and would later show up as dlc. snk actually had a lot of plans for kof12 dlc, as well as another new game that trieu was talking about, but i think everything fell through when the game bombed

Hey, wouldn’t putting the latest kof images up on an anniversary site be the best idea? Hey I know, there’s not enough mainstays so lets put some extra characters on there because it’s not like we’re announcing any new characters for KOFXII on here or anything.

We now play the waiting game, I say don’t put your hopes too high and wait till some previews. Expect let-downs, delays, or shitty netcode. Then, we will all simply facepalm and go about our business.
I still think its too soon to announce an almost completed KOFXIII. It hasnt been that long since XII was released and they had I dont know how much time and they couldnt finish it. I fear that this short period of time was only to include a couple of more characters, finish the old characters movelists, and to add a boss.
I just hope they didnt fix they’re netcode because they KNEW that XIII was coming out and investing in it would be a waste… I can only dream.
if the rumors were right then kof xiii already has 2 years of development(supposedly they stared to work on xiii after the first footage of xii came out, that is why xii is so incomplete, it was taking too long to develop and snk was loosing money).
if this is right then kof xiii will come out a year from now, that’ll be 3 years of development
that’s the average time it takes to develop any kind of game.
I just thought of something. If Mai is actually in XIII, wouldn’t they have to change her play style completely? A lot of her game consists of air moves like jumping off the wall and such. Problem is the camera is so close, you wouldn’t have enough room to do anything. You would be jumping above the health bar or something. Those Mai fanboys will be complaining all over again when SNK gives only 2 moves to her like Mature.
