It’s better to know about the true history of the scene. Choosing ignorance just to not wince at the past could be detrimental to the future of our scene. We don’t want those that actually hindered the development of our scene to continue their influence.
With that said, Dark Geese has not changed as TO, as a person, and as an individual. That being said, I really do not want him in any involvement within not only our scene, but the international KOF communities. He’s that bad and continues to do so. Since I have no influential power or any sort of jurisdiction, I can’t stop him nor will people listen to me.
But, there is a reason why Mr. Wizard did and still bans Dark Geese from EVO. That’s a huge indicator. Instead of that Invisible Children propaganda that’s been going on, people should be saying #StopDG2012.

curious to know how other communities are faring upon SFxT’s release, over here I’m noticing a significant drop in interest which is honestly very aggravating and disheartening. I’m going to have to do a lot of legwork to mend the wound (which I’m prepared for), but I’m feeling a heavy weight crushing down on me regardless. Hopefully better news elsewhere.
Give it a month - two months, tops. I see a lot of people dropping this game. Hell, I just got back from a local gathering, and IN THE MIDDLE of everybody playing SFxT, they all ended up going back to either Marvel or AE. Didn’t even play the game for more than a couple of hours before they got bored.

Our local setup has a bunch of tv’s one of which is the back to back asus monitor setup. At first it was us playing some sfxt because I hadn’t had a chance to try out the game yet but you bet your ass from about 8-1 in the morning that setup had nonstop KOF on it. I think some of our local people are just really excited about the new game but we have some hardcore kof players here who will get our own setup on the side if we have to and grind it out.
kof is just too good of a game.
I also bet you don’t remember the death threats DG made either. Quite the guy you work for.
You have to fuck up real bad to get banned from EVO.
I do recall that and him being banned from SRK for like 6 months or something but I don’t remember hearing something official about him being banned from EVO. I thought Dark Prince was the only one banned from EVO so far lol.

You guys should totally come out to Vegas then and help level up our scene. We could use some solid players like you guys to grind it out with.
If that happens, I WILL move to vegas. I got way too many friends there and if top KOF players go there, no doubt I’ll be there lol.
