Any delay for North American console version?

Nope, it will release on the 22nd as planned.

Oh man…I think I’m gonna go nuts with the color edit mode.

KOFXIII vote!

MK9 is going to win

Anywho, hey Atlus/SNK, I know you guys are lurking! Push button button config in a future update please!

In case I’m wrong and they don’t lurk, someone pass it on please.

Players have been asking them to change it since EVO. I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows if this game has been confirmed to have some sort of online lobby system or not like Endless battle, or even a spectator mode to go along with that. It would be sick if it did.

In KOF XII, it had a lobby system so I’d assume that KOF XIII will have that as well. There won’t be a spectator system, but you could play in Practice Mode by yourself while you wait for your turn in the lobby/room. So at the least, there is something useful and practical while you wait.

Did not know this. I stopped spectating matches from lobbies I was in back like the 2nd month of SSF4 and browsed the internet wishing I could be in practice mode. Awesome.

So anyone else feeling as nervous as I am about this?

I mean I read though the thread Atlus made on their website waaaay back about what people wanted to see in this game and most of those beginning posts were about how bad the online was for kof12 and that they wanted GGPO or something similar. To which they had responded that even though they couldn’t use GGPO but they will do the best they can to make the netcode way better than before.and just reading this article scares the hell out of me.

did ngbc use gss

you could probably just play offline anyway pending on how populated your area is

I feel like the article is bias. In all honesty, they delayed the game for a month, have constantly toted the netcode as a main selling point for the game, two companies have tried it out in distance tests, and some of the best and brightest in the competitive world are playtesting it.

I really, really think the game will be fine and the netcode will do well. The SRK and Siliconera article don’t have anything to base their “disappointment” on.

Does it function like BBCS where only the host can train before people show up, or can everyone in the room practice while they wait their turn?

Well, I don’t think anyone here knows definitively or can speak at liberty to tell you what the netcode interface will look like. However, we can deduce that you’re in training mode as you’re being paired up. So if you’re just waiting for a match, you can sit in training mode. If you’re hosting a room, you can probably be in training mode. If you’re actively combing some sort of room list in the lobby for a match, you probably can’t be in training mode at the same time.

However, once you find a room and the match hasn’t started yet for some reason, you can enter training mode. Remember, this is all based on the assumption you can enter training mode while looking up a match.

From what I understood, everyone could Practice Mode. But of course, I don’t have any definite details so don’t hold me to that. We’ll see when it comes Tuesday.

Why you no release 98UM on PSN SNK?

Hopefully the success of this will get 98 UM on psn.

Apparently a lack of genitals doesn’t stop people from dickriding GGPO.

Hi guys, i tried kofxiii on ps3, it is great but has some incompatibility with some controllers (that the XMB does detect and work properly) , where and who do we call to get this fixed?
Thanks

nobody has the game yet except for a select few. Next tuesday is the official release date.

I’ve never heard of a controller not working because of a game, if it works in the XMB it should work in the game.

head over to the Tech talk forum somebody might help you there
