Whatever happens or doesn’t happen in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Other than that, what are your guys plans for getting a community going for the game in your area? Some people aren’t seeing available arcades looking to put the money down for the console-to-cab port or available arcades in general.
With SoCal regionals around the corner, it’s gonna take a lot of practicing with real people to get better as well as figuring out what’re the best options for your characters.
My suggestion? Holding local ladder matches and getting into the feel of tournament play. If a friend is good with a camera, record matches and post them on the internet. Don’t even have to have audio or names. Having the reference to see from a third person point of view slows the match down and lets you take it all in. Having our Southtown Ranbats recorded helps me see a lot of my gameplay from the outside.
Looking forward to playing this and more than likely making this my main game until SFxT. Going to use Elizabeth(or classic Iori)/King/Leona in that order.
Sounds good, but Elizabeth really needs meter and Leona spends a lot of it.
She’s nice on point and probably the best on-point character, but her real damage comes from supers. You might want to consider King first then Elizabeth? It’s your call!
I’ll keep it with Elizabeth on point. I know she builds good meter as well so I’ll keep it that way. Since I really want to use drive cancels with King as well when she comes in as a second character. Just have to see how it works out if not then I’ll switch Elizabeth and King spots.
Ive been thinking about which to get first KoF or Marvel and this is EXACTLY the way ive been thinking about it haha. Kinda want to get back with Marvel since it was fun and all but at the same time, I want to see other people for awhile…
i feel like mvc3 is the girl that you’re only with because shes popular and gets you into all the clubs but you really still pine for her older sister and cheat with her everyday
I can’t wait to finally go back to playing a KOF for real. Even though I played all KoFs with the only exceptions being XI and XII, the last one I really dedicated myself to was '98
And like in every year I’ll give King a try in my main team and fail and pick a different character. It’s like a curse, I can’t ever click with King’s gameplay even though I love her style. xP
