haha, that sounds like a legit setup though. i’m talking about a person who activated at the other end of the screen with joe, then just threw a gamble super into neomax. if you get tagged by that shit it’s like 80% health. i’m trying to be patient in this game though. if something irks me online i’ll go into training mode with their character as the dummy and see what i can do differently.
btw, if i make a new psn account, will i still be able to use dlc characters? and would i have to redo my customized colours?
as long as you’ve downloaded the DLC characters to the same PS3 you should be fine

Is try hard some sort of diss? I hear it a lot lately and the term just makes no sense to me. Should people purposely be playing at like 60-80% capacity or something? I mean I am always trying my hardest even if I am just dinking around online trying new stuff out for matchup purposes.

Man give me Oswald and give Terry 98 or 02 j.CD since his current j.CD is way too high angled to be congruent and effective for Terry’s tools. Otherwise I’ve been messing around with KOFXI and I really want B.Jenet, Momoko, Oswald, Malin, etc. Fun, fun characters. Refreshing even

We’ve had pretty good competition at Gamecenter San Mateo on Friday ranbats. Pain and BBZ come out along with a lot of the STA players.
I wouldn’t go straight into HD and tag them with then neomax. I would just neomax lol. Activating HD raw is very risky because if you are playing keepaway, then close it a lot faster. Not to mention Joe’s screw upper super is like -40 or more on block. His neomax comes out in about 5 frames(maybe a bit less), and I would hella pull the trigger against King if I have the meter.
lol tryhard means you try your best to win. When I am fucking around, I am looking for exploits and trying to get better. I do it like this, find the exploits, try to apply it with my real game, and see if it works, if not, back to square one. I don’t try all the time, I just use online to knowledge and matchup experience.
Also, won my first tourney Saturday. I didn’t lose and I dunno if anyone recorded. I stunned about 5 times with normal Kyo and twice with Joe. It was a good experience because I got the chance to play a really good Mr.K, and I have to say as of now, you have to rely on him to make mistakes and punish him for them. I also found s.C with Iori to beat most of his shorthops and even his j.CD in some cases. I would just run up s.C and I would win. I also went in the lab afterwards to see if you can frame trap MK after his counter against projectiles and nothing really worked :. It’s possible but I won’t try it in game, I think your best bet is to just dp if possible and force him to sit there after he teleports because if he is hitting buttons, the dp will win.
Been working on picking this game up again (had to drop it because of school; education comes first and such). But, I’m having a weird execution error when I’m practicing Claw Iori’s DC loops. Whenever I’m trying to do his qcf b DC dp c, I’m getting qcf b DC hcf c. I’ve tried using the hcb + f “shortcut” for dp, but that’s too inconsistent. Is there some silly execution error I’m making, or a shortcut I’m missing, of is that a loop I shouldn’t even bother with?
what do your inputs look like? I can’t get it by mistake for the life of me

You’re getting command throw instead of dp because you did the dp with 6236 C. Try holding down forward when you press C for the DP.
Which is so saddening considering how spoiled we are to get something like KOFXIII in this generation of fighting games. Where is the love? =/
