Ratio point systems are not the default, it’s imposed by the people that play in those tournaments for their own fun/purposes. So feel free to compose your team to your leisure.

I’ve played SNK fighters, but never a KOF game. I’m really looking forward to it, perhaps more so than SFxT. I hope it gets popular in tournaments and stuff.
as someone coming from heavily playing MvC2 how steep is the learning/execution curve?
It’s a pretty easy game to learn. Combos and hitconfirms are pretty easy with target combo like mechanics and easy to chain attacks that cancel. From there, the main thing to learn about the game is just spacing and some specific meta-game strategies. The DandyJ guide should be sufficient in teaching most of those nuances; so overall, it’s pretty easy to learn KOF. The player just needs to play the game and one should be able to get comfortable between a week to a month or so.
They definitely do have time. They could get at least 4 extra characters done within the last 2 years since KOFXII.
Also Atlus confirms there will be console exclusive characterS (plural) so there’s more than 1 being added, and most likely more than 2 or 3. Iori98, and Saiki are pretty much confirmed (well Iori98 not confirmed as much as the others), and perhaps a 4th and 5th being revealed maybe next month.
problem with character(s) is that it could only be 2 and its still character s. we already know well be getting billy and saiki, thats already 2 playable characters. i do hope we get the whole outlaw team and if possible 96 boss team, but i wouldnt be surprised if it was just billy and saiki, which would suck imo, at least wed still be able to play 13 though. we need yamazaki.

i was just messing around on the iphone game and man, everything about this game makes me fall in love with it. i was playing Maxima and i honestly felt like i was playing a certain lazor spitting robot from another game it was awesome! i cant wait for this shit to drop now, im playing this fucking app more than my ps3!
