yeah it does, bet you didnt notice lots of characters missing shit. most importantly clark and ralph. they fucked a lot of other characters over too with terry and kim and the likes only having 4 specials. they needed 10 kofs for these characters to gain moves from the 3 to 4 moves they started out with (94), and now they just lose the fucking moves and start all over again clean. yay, i mean gay. also a big part of the missing shit are the dm’s, most characters only have 1. fuck. that is bad, in fact its horrible. busta wolf was terrys only far reaching dm too, and could be used as an AA to a degree.
O trust me i noticed all the other missing shit as well. This game is so weird. They went from saying that everyone was gonna have 1 super to giving some characters more then one and in some cases choosing the wrong one for the job. Buster wolf was a really good tool in my opinion. I like it a million times better than power geyser thats for sure and it was a lot more reliable in my eyes…like you said. served well as an AA at times and really good for ending combos…In XI didnt it go over some low attacks as well?

Now let’s be honest, the “Re-Birth” is a pretty word to cover up scaling down because developing these new sprites and animation takes a lot time, money and effort, so the developers did their best to make it look retro to help cover up the fact that they intentionally made individual characters simpler to cut down on development time.
Still for a rush job, they have apparently done an admirable effort making some of the changes and downgrades work.
I know that quite well and understand it’s a pain in the ass to painstakingly recreate KOF. (Especially when it takes almost a year to make one character) I’m just hoping that if this is successful, we’ll have KOFXIII be a MUCH better game. Then they can recycle to their heart’s content and add new shit with little to worry about.

corner (jump in), C > CD XX QCB+B, c.A reset into 4-way mixup (high/low/throw/CC). Can probably do QCB+D but with B it’s easier =p
Can definitely still do c.B > c.A > df+C XX QCB+A, though df+C range is crappy. Forgot to test how good of an anti-air df+C is. Could probably get anti-air CH whatever to Crack Shoot, juggle something or other.
Any interesting/better than mash C CCs yet?

yeah, i know, its soo good, although its hard to get a CC around here because everyone keeps jumping around and fighting air to air most of the time.
D/F C is great for anti airing regular jumps, but for short hops, you can try out neutral C because it has quick start up and has a lot of active frames since it is 2 hits. Rising tackle works great too, as long as your charging.
And in the corner, you should really stick to qcb D after the CD, because you will get all the hits, and are able to finish it with A rising tackle. Or just reset.
Oh…and my favorite way to start a match. Stand B hit confirm into Power Geyser. TOO GOOD!!
I think I comboed into c.A after counterhit B crackshoot. Is this legit? I did the Arcadia combo today after a couple of tries. Great. Not much else I could say. I’m loving low hitting power wave though.
Yeah, you can combo off counterhit crack shoot. Heck on a counter you can do crouching C, CD xx Burn Knuckle… or D Crack Shoot, A Rising Tackle in corner

As much as I LOVE Buster Wolf, terry is defined by Power Geyser, IMHO. I like to think that BW being left out of this game, just means it’s going to be REALLY awesome looking when it finally comes back.
He doesn’t even have Triple Geyser, though… that’s been with him a LOT longer than the BW. Watching the gameplay, though, I couldn’t say I really will MISS any of those DMs when playing… Power Geyser looks insanely fast to hit and recover, when used to combo. And the quick attack and recovery of Burn Knuckle just partially makes up for the lack of BW.
Heck, wonder how long it’ll be till we see Power Stream in KoF XII style… I imagine it’d look very awesome!

no, but many SF nut heads who never really played a KOF will try to play him like ken
