I spoke to Gamestop here in Lethbridge, Alberta they said their release date is set for the 28th as well. But they also seemed to have no idea when the game will ship and whether or not it would break street date.
But I mean it’s safe to assume that regular employees don’t know these things till last minute. I guess Canada will have to wait and see.
Local store said it will be on th shelf around noon Friday.
Local gamestop claimed thursday or friday. They didn’t get it in today though.

Called two Gamestops in my area today and both told me they’d have it in stock on the 24th. Have the game preordered. Hoping for the best, but I can wait a few more days, if something comes up.

Yea I went in to the GS at scotia plaza and both of the guys worked there stated that the release date is still the 28th.
I’ll try the Eb games I used to work at to see if they’re getting it, but I doubt it.

"Note: The official release date on KoF XII is July 28, but EB is listing it as shipping on Thurs. Don’t be surprised if this one’s not in stores until next week. But you might get lucky."

I called the eb that I used to work at and they also stated that the release date hasn’t changed from the 28th, however if you pre ordered the game and it does happen to drop early they will give you a call.
But don’t be surprised if the game does in fact come out on the 28th.
the store I go to is definitely getting it this week, and I reserved, so just 2 more days! 
Yah ever since the kotaku article that confirmed the 28th was the date then they post a link of upcoming games and KOF12 was being released on 23
While GAMEFAQS also changed the date to the 28 after the confirmation of the article on kotaku and now recently it changed back to 23rd…
Damn, this crap is getting annoying when a video game developer cant even confirm a street date.
Publishers shouldn’t confirm anything, they should give you an ETA and then let the stores sell you the game as soon as they get it. What reason could there be for them not to? Jealousy someone got it before them? US getting it before Canadians anyways and that’s because here, even if they have the game, most places don’t break street date.
there is no street date in the first place. stores will sell it as soon as their shipment comes in. Gamestop and EB managers have confirmed this.
**There’s nothing hard to figure out about this. if you reserved the game at a place like gamestop and they are receiving the game this thursday, you won’t have to wait until next week. the 23rd will be the earliest time to get it.

I just pre ordered kofxii just a few mins ago when I just heard about gs having it this week so thnx for the heads up. This is actually my first time pre ordering a game and hopefully its worth it. I can’t wait!!! lol
