thanks! although i cant take all the credit. i saw a combo here that was just 4 lp moon slashers and i ran with it lol.
ive only been able to pull it off with the two HP moon slashers one other time (just now lol) the 3 LP ms> HP ms> v slash would be a lot easier to pull off in a fight and get full damage. a lot more juggle room. unless someone just got the timing of the 2 HP MS’s> v slash down to perfection. i never will im sure but i bet someone could lol.

The timing is REALLY tough, and what you came up with is a helluva lot easier, but I wanna see if I can perfect the timing… all for 28 damage and my integrity, lmao. YOu never know man, you actually nailed it twice, I still haven’t done it once.
Question: when do you exactly do the DM motion? do you buffer it in while in her lag state of the last moonslasher, or do you kindda spazz out the motion at the first moment where you can attack again?
since im using a pad i cant really buffer her super very well so i use the four moon slashers to juggle the guy as high as i can get them, and after the last moon slasher i let go of the d pad completely just to resist the urge of putting in the command to her DM too early, then i start to do the d,f,hcb,ub for her DM as the opponent starts to fall from the juggle. i try to time it so that i press punch immediately after she regains motion from the last moon slasher.
ah i never even thought of that! very nice! if they guy above tried it out then yeah it looks like they do have the same amount of damage. awesome. im going to try it out now myself
EDIT: WOW that is much easier! i got it on my second try and it turns out that doing it this way squeezes out one extra point of damage! 699 is beastly damage jeez. great idea badhero!
Dude, FANTASTIC FIND, I was actually thinking about switching up the Moonslashers like that but I was so hellbent on doing it the way I figured it out, but this is so much easier, god status.

i still havent managed to get that KOFUnion combo. i can never get the second baltic launcher to land lol. if i could get that i would have it in the bag. so for now ive just been cutting it short and doing the V slash after the first baltic launcher lol. that vid had some awesome combos. thanks for posting it for me MRGAY
The trick on that KoFUnion combo is to make sure the last hit before the CC ends is 2C. Once you land that, immediately slam the stick to 6 and tap C again, then partition charge back to 1. You should already have the next part ready before the animation for [2]6C has finished.
Just practice doing [2]6C, [2]6A until it looks fluid with no pauses. That’s when you know you got it down :smokin:
Also, when you land the CC, you want to hit A version Moon Launcher before you start running. Otherwise it’ll cancel your charge frames…which sucks.
Small combo, couldn’t see it in the thread… db.C, db.CD, fB~C does about 176 damage(239 with jump in C), just flashy if nothing else, helps travel to corner though
If you’re in the corner, you can do db.C, db.CD, dfB~C, u+A (grand saber into moon slasher) for crazy more effort than needed madness!
If you like mixups and stupid combos, use the D~C version of grand saber and reset them with a crouching A, then followup with the appropriate next combo/CC!
I play Leona to the best of my ability. A pretty flashy/stylish CC I use is:
HP -> Baltic Launcher A -> j HP+HK -> X-Caliber -> Baltic Launcher A -> Moon Slasher C or V-Slasher (401). It does just as much as CC -> V-Slasher
