Dwn+A into Close C no work. His Close C is different now, comes out SLOW.
His best poke is Fwd+C (fast, long range and counters a lot, which you can follow up with another Fwd+C or DM).
Fwd+B is hella good only because it counters a lot against wake-up, which you can follow-up with DM, Fwd+C or QCB+D.
Air QCF+K/QCB+K will only combo after Fwd, Fwd+D when the hit is a counter.
Dwn.Up+B is now very punishable. For that reason I think you should always use the D version since it covers more range and combos off of his light attacks.
If his Air QCF+K connects you can do another QCF+K or QCB+B while still in the air. This does not combo but will push you toward your opponent which allows you to pressure your down opponent.
Why is his Air QCF+Kick so weak? That’s dope you can follow-up with that pressure you mentioned Muchiko, just don’t get why it’s weaker than say, his sweep lol.
^Its kind of always been weak damage wise, it just is the way it is.
I just watched that combo video of Kim/Ryo/Raiden/Robert.
I saw that one of the combos was what appeared to be two standing B’s into his qcb+K. My question is can he combo qcb+b off of all of his A and B attacks, and if so, can you string enough of them together to make qcb+b safe on block?
in the vid where he missed the charge CD attack, why didnt he do a d-u+K, then juggle with a super instead of doing the CD? is what im saying even possible? also personally im far moreinterrested ion the standard and corner combos then in the CC atm.
Does the j.a , cr.c , CD, hienzan combo only work in corner? I cant get it to work midscreen at all. Maybe Im missing something.
Interesting note, if you do a qcb+k ending in backup, he will do the air version off the ground, which is a lot quicker than the ground one. Hienzan also has godly anti air properties.
Any useful tips for air kick? CC’s, combos, cant seem to find a use for it.
I tried this without the initial CD and got 526dmg off Iori. I am starting to realize that 2 CD’s in a combo does not optimize the damage if a (combo heavy) super is used after the last CD.
