KOF XII - How to set up 1-on-1 in online player match (PS3)?

Hi all,

Any help would be appreciated. I can’t seem to figure out how to create a player match that is 1-on-1. I am referring to 1 character vs 1 character in a (say…best of 3) match…as opposed to selecting a team of 3 different characters. I am not referring to 1 human vs 1 human compared to a clan match of 3 vs 3. It is intuitively displayed in VS mode but I can’t seem to figure out how to do this with online matches.

I have the PS3 version of the game so I’m not sure if that matters. Thanks in advance.

Honestly I’m a little curious as to why you would even want to do that.

Please tell us why we should stick to SF4?

Eventually, I would play mostly 3 on 3 but while I’m learning the characters I’d like to play/practice, with my brother online, with one character at a time. Practice mode is only so good but then you need to get in and fight real people.

It can be done locally but not online. Theres a thread asking for it to be added to online in the ignition forums.

I think 1v1 is a great mode to introduce someone to the game. Learning the system in addition to 3 chars at once can be a bit of a barrier to entry.
