There are hella KOF mainstays that got the boot. K’, King, Mai, Billy, Takuma, Yuri, Chang, Choi and Shingo are all MIA.

Checked out my local Gamestop this weekend, surprisingly saw promotional copies of KOF XII, confirmed the July release date, and laid in my very first game pre-order. :lovin:
PS: Just d/l’ed the new HD trailers on my 360 from the marketplace and viewing them on my new big HDTV…can’t help but say the game looks so good, and totally surprised me how nice it looks watching it in action on your HDTV rather than videos on a PC which does not do the game justice visually.
The high level gameplay I’ve seen so far already had me sold but seeing how the game will look on my HDTV just from a trailer has me really excited.
So is everybody having to wait just because of one region with the alibi of making it better (how? What are they doing? Completing movelists, or adding characters or something…you know…noticable?), or are they REALLY adding new stuff we haven’t seen yet??

Umm no, the US release is still on July 28th. If you saw the thread title on the link I posted, the August 28th date is only for Europe.
Whoops…only saw 28th, didn’t notice the one-month difference.
It seems that the game is out and a few people got their copies of the game.
I’ll check one of the gameshops I go to later on and see if they’ve got it…

i’m not sure how long ill be playing this, most KOF’s last me about 3 weeks tops…think i’m just going t try and rent this from gamefly for a month lol
So, the worldwide release is shot now and Europe has to wait an extra month? Un-fucking-believable. I hate living in the UK; I’ve been looking forward to KoFXII for months, and actually thought I just had a week to go.

Gamestop had KOF12 listed for the 21st before Ignition stated that the game will be released on the 28th. Now GS is stating its coming out on the 23rd.
I hope it does come out on the 23rd.
I doubt it’ll come out on the 23th…but if it does…I’m cancelling my amazon preorder

The 23rd is a ship date. So it would actually be a street date of the 24th…but the ship date is stupid cause I called a GS near me and they said that it arrives today. I know for sure that they wont be allowed to sell till the 24th though.
