Kind of disapponted at his changes. I skipped KoFXI so I don’t know what happend to him there. He lost his command throw and overhead why?
Anyway, regarding the kiss move. B version after sweep puts it right above them. It seems alright but it’s not an amazing move. It actually hits a bit late and so you can generally run up and throw before it goes off but it doesn’t lock them down very well for the same reason. I’ll have to experiment with it more when online gets patched.
I’m not the best at conveying combos (as in A, B, C, D, etc. so here it is) I put these together this morning.
What I learned was that if you do a his weak fireball up close (Charge 4 > 6 LP or A i think) you can combo off of it directly with a standing normal like HP or 2LP.
So from that little discovery I came up with these combos:
The whole thing is in order for these combos to work you have to stay in deep which is why I do the crouching LP into charge 4 > 6+LP otherwise you get pushed to far out and you wont be able to connect with another normal.
Ash has swiftly become my favorite in this iteration. Hopefully more to come.
what if ryu was was a flaming homo… i’m sure something like that would matter… maybe not to the gameplay aspects, but just how people view street fighter as a whole.
i am just kind of interested in why they designed a character like this. what kind of audience are they trying to appeal to? and frankly i’m surprised that the people who worked on the game approved of it. i don’t think its very appropriate for this type of genre, but hey what do i know. i’m no homophob and I thoroughly enjoyed Bruno, but it does feel weird to play this guy. now if they just changed his voice to a girl’s, then this would be a great character design.
Is this “charge less for light versions of moves” thing new to KoFXII or was it in XI? Either way it’s pretty neat for someone like me who totally sucks at storing charge (and yet I play Ash…). Of course in the case of the flashkick in combos that means i’m doing a little less but whatever, if I can do it more consistently.
Does Sans-culottes do anything more than the explosion now? It certainly doesn’t give you no charge anymore. Guess it’s cause it’s not an LDM anymore.
No, but it is fully invincible, safe, and one of the fastest supers in the game (1 frame). It also leads to giant juggle combos in specific situations, though they are admittedly rare.
I jumped into training mode and put the Special bar to max and spammed Sans Culottes to see how much I could get without messing up. Get to 82 and then my fingers kris kros.
Can you get anything out of the fireball super ? a Juggle or a connect afterwards ? It seems ridiculous they would fit in a super for a character and it have no benefit besides damage, and even that is debatable
