To be fair, KoF got “Best Fighting Game” at E3 from just about every major media outlet, as well as a fair bit of coverage. Not at the level of SF4, but more than KoF usually gets. On the other hand, BB got about equal coverage to KoF before its launch, if not less, and it seems to be doing really well.
what the fuck do you know about amazing sandwiches?
rename yo self to subway.
bootleg status.
My friend in Japan is saying that his local arcade in osaka is doing well with KOFXII. It might not catch on here in north america, but look how sf3:3s was… never caught on, and was such a great game that deserved attention… Hopefully the fixing of the netcode will bring more fighting game fans in for KOF. i know i am having a blast playing it.
Brah, that story was pretty cool.
But in seriousness, its different strokes for different folks. I will probably buy neither game cus Im not a fan.
classic
Nice, thanks for sharing.
Roommate and I are having a blast playing it.
VS. and Practice modes FTultimateWIN (CC combo practice wow awesome) :lovin:
EDIT: Could you find the name of the arcade?
damn the way ppl are posting in here is like there just saying fuck it everyone lets just not play this game right now and turn our backs on it because it has its problems like all fighting games.the game is solid and this thread doesnt even need to be here.
You didn’t even buy it. LoL
^lol
I’m really hoping they fix this asap It’s gonna need a shitload of DLC to stand a chance, and change minds. Plus TONS OF Tourney play.
Poongko and Daigo anyone?
Man, SRK sucks more than usual (not directed at the OP).
:lol:yes and no times are hard
Fuck you now go and make me a sandwich.
People need a reason to give it a chance. That starts with having sufficient single player content to justify a full price tag. It continues with online community support from a functioning netcode. If the gameplay is fun, has depth, and there’s plenty of people playing it online, sales will follow. Lack of hardcore support can be solved by putting in development time to fix the problems with the gameplay that currently turn them off (currently, too limited moveset and lacking characters being high on the list there).
If you take Blazblue by comparison, the hype for that game was similar or even lesser to the hype KoF had in the months prior to release. 2D fighting is in a resurgence and casuals are ready and willing to climb on board off the success of SFIV. With plenty of content and a great netcode, BB is selling very well indeed regardless that it has zero familiar characters on roster, and plays a little bit differently than GG did.
i’m like ryo when he dies “damn it!!”
Back in my old days KOF had no online play. It had arcade, versus, and practice and thats the way it was and we liked it!
