So this game is apparently being shipped today at GS.
Someone recommend me a good rush down team to start with.
I don’t know anything about this game, but now that it’s out for the u.s., I figure I’d give it a shot.

I doubt it’s really being shipped since GS is the only site that has today as the shipping date. Everyone else has it s cheduled for next month. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

ok I need some help here. I play Duolon as my leader but I can never seem to connect his chain. EX QCF-A,F-B, HCB-C, I always hit with the qcf-a and keep it going with his f-b but everytime I finish with hcb-c his plam just wiffs! Am i doing something wrong here? also when i do connect the plam and then cancel into this LDM do i continue the combo with his qcf-a or something else? Any help would be awsome. thanks.
Start it with Qcf+C…and also if you want it to connect you gotta combo off S.t C NOT st. D…
St. D try the thing and it will whiff like EVERYTIME.

the palm rekka only connects off one c.lp or close hp or hk. mash on c.lp before hand, the palm will whiff every single time.
2nd of all, the palm rekka only works with qcf+lp, or for all you kof only players, qcf+A. qcf+C into f+B, into whatever doesnt work anymore after kof2k3, it has to be qcf+lp.

Just stick with what works for ya…Just remember that Gato is clearly above the rest of the cast, especially with his LDM.
In case you don’t want to read ouroborus’ faq, after activating usually depends on one small factor, whether your opponent is ducking or not. If so, as soon as you activate, df D, teleport (always light kick), d. lp, qcf, lp, f. lk, teleport, and then either repeat, or if you are behind your opponent, do what ouroborus is doing in his vid. If they are standing, d. C, f. A, teleport, then start the rekkas.
As for getting the rekka to connect, again, ouroborus is right, Just link a d. lp, or a close heavy attack then start the rekka. The only way you’re going to get extra hits in is from a crossup.
Just remember though, Doulon is a B level character at best as a leader unless its a one on one fight, in which case you just need to touch your opponent. The thing that angers me about him is that you can saving shift out of the leader. It blows, still a fun an awesome character though.

Yeah I know that Duolon is not top tier as far as Gato/kula/oswald go but I like to play him all the same. I dont play KOF in tournys cause the scene here in austin is kinda small so its more for fun at Einstiens here in austin. My team is ash/silver/dulon(L), I ust as as my lead to get a nice fireball/zoning game going and use silver to try and bring the damage. Duolon is my leader because I like his style and love the way he can lock down someone with his LDM. If any one has any tips on how to play with this team let me know.
I have tips how to play him but I am sure they’ve been discussed before…I play with him as Leader in Casuals…
Any1 with Kula/Gato is good.
KGO (Kula/Gato/Ozzy) is prolly the tier whore team of this game.

(In all seriousness though my friends and I play arrange mode, as we’re not too concerned about playing tournaments or whatnot. More Buster Wolf Damage + Longer Range Break Spiral - Anywhere Juggle LDMs == more fun, IMHO.)
