Didn’t Regulation A strip much of the original version’s content away?
I miss Fio unblockables. I hardly knew you.
I was under the impression that Falcoon quit and was not fired. Pressure was coming down from the higher-ups and Falcoon couldn’t deal with it, so he quit. At least that’s the way I heard it.
as far as i know it was remade for arcade release. and then the ps2 version was ripped outa the arcade with added practice mode and options.
MIRA has half of stages and costume colors/bonus costumes from MI2 removed
So, what were the complaints? My only complaint was the problem all of 2.5d fighters have when they try to port 2d gameplay onto a 3d field: feels like not enough stun on jump-ins (you have to hit somebody in the crotch or lower for a decent combo window in 2.5d fighters due to less/quicker stun animation) and hard hits (enemy in some games almost recover from a close hard hit fast enough to get off a quick jab)…oh, and the chain combos (the 3d was tolerable, but they seemed to be trying to get further and further away from kof gameplay with stuff like that).
I love MI2 must still get MIRA someday, it’s really sad I thought it was a nice friendly casual fighter and it had bewbs, how could it go wrong?
It’s got so many charas too:
Hanzo, Fio, Richard, Hyena, Duke are my fav charas.
I play this game all the time.
Hyena is surprisingly really nice. Hella underestimated. He has similiar aegis setups.
This isn’t the case in MI:RA. You can jumpin and combo fairly easy in this game. Especially with the gdlk short hop in this game. It’s a lil too good acutally. Of course some characters favor from starting combos off low pokes…like Mai for example.
And when you look past MI:RA NOT being a traditional KOF but with tradional mechanics and new features, you’ll appreciate it more IMO.
