in theory we should be able to set up some games at this coming C3 and possibly the January one, i’m gonna check with my ride tonight to make sure i can come through.

the official site has updated with some really good transcripted bnb combos and starter stuff ( in japanese of course, but with streaming vids ) for most of the cast - i’m pretty sure this is an effort to include content from the Positive Workout mook and integrate it into their site to make it easier for folks to get into the game. a lot of the stuff is really good and practical, i assume that might eventually include stuff for all the characters ( i could be wrong though ), but do check it out.
right now it’s only for Alba, Kyo, Duke, K’, Kula, classic Kyo, Maxima, and Hyena.
they’re updating periodicly with more characters.
for those people who were wondering, most of the combos are different from the ones on the hk.snkplaymore site so be sure to check them out
i wish they would have focused more on bnb than flashy shit though it’s always good to see what is possible and come up with your own ideas

yeah, i know it’s a year old AND it’s MI2, but to be honest there’s a LOT of older tactics and playstyles that the players were using that US players would know NOTHING about OR how to counter ( i.e. OTG Kula mixup, B.Jenet wall frametrap ) and I hope people would care enough about the game to at least take a look ( even if it’s just to know how to get in on runaway Lilly Kane jump C

also I’ve misplaced the Kansai division tournament’s file ( i think Orochinagi used to host it, so did the original Japanese site but i can’t find it anymore ), if i can find it i’ll gladly upload that too.
