3rd Strike & Vampire Savior tournament at Konbo arcade cafe, Edinburgh, UK (123 Gilmore Place, EH3 9PP). Sunday 6th August, 12.00-17.00.
Games running on original arcade hardware (boards & Astro City cabs).
We open at 12pm, and registration is available until the start of each game.
1pm: VAMPIRE SAVIOR
Entry: £5 entry, player cap of 8.
Format: Double elimination, best of 3.
Prize: Winner takes all.
Rules: Speed Turbo 3. Shadow is banned. Game-breaking glitches are banned. Players decide 1P/2P side on mutual agreement and where mutual agreement cannot be reached, rock paper scissors decides. Sides cannot be switched during a match. Winner of the last match sticks with the current character, loser is able to pick.
2.30pm: STREET FIGHTER III: 3rd STRIKE
Entry: £5 entry.
Format: Double elimination, best of 3 for all stages of the tournament with best of 5 for grand finals.
Prize: Pot split, 60% 1st place, 30% 2nd place, 10% 3rd place.
Rules: Gill is banned. Both players can change supers before each round if they want to. Players decide 1P/2P side on mutual agreement and where mutual agreement cannot be reached, rock paper scissors decides. Sides cannot be switched during a match. Winner of the last match sticks with the current character, loser is able to pick.
