I did some reading in tech talk and aparently the “brainless block” works for both the xbox and ps3 version of MvC3, as well as for throwing walk forward charge moves in HDR. For MvC3:

i use ammy, no one uses she hulk besides rob for a week and myself to a much lesser extent
lol yeah, I tried to use Justin’s secret team last night, as well as Clakey D’s team. Found out I’m garbage with Clakey’s chars, but Amaterasu worked well with Magburrito, and She-Hulk just does a lot of damage with that one combo. I don’t understand how to use her mobility options, though. She seems kind of like Makoto, but more feminine.
I tried using Haggar. Found his air grab animation hilarious, but unfortunately it can’t be used to cross someone up in the corner. 
I’ll probably tier-whore with Phoenix, but not Sent. MDK’s team with/without Ammy seems like my best team right now.

edit: however, until it is. whoever plays on pad better abuse the shit out of it. ie. when a new character comes in, can’t be crossed up. or block both ways in the air.
All of these team compositions are completely free against Thor. Do more research next time.

It was really weird though. Against Gary I felt a little bit of a difference (especially with Viper), but overall it was fine and easily playable. Against Patrick though, having Storm + Sentinal on screen at the same time as Viper Seismos + Tron cover made the game play like a stop motion picture. Both him and I dropped so many advances simply because the game would pause and miss a mp or launcher or seismo or something…it was stupid.
That proved to me 360 >>> PS3 for marvel lol.
Pretty sure Magneto would beat someone who is conveniently covered in metal.
