lol I love how negative Vince was throughout my second match. “It’s done, this is a 10-0” “Yea you’re done”.
10-0 eh? I like those odds. 
We had LaN and MadScientist team up while I decided to take whichever random person didn’t have a partner. I ended up with Rogueyoshi who was actually really good. Eventually we had to play each other in losers: I dropped the ball vs MadScientist and Rogueyoshi lost to him as well. But it wouldn’t have made much difference since none of us knew how to play against Hal’s character. 
Singles was disappointing. I had to face Rei surprisingly early in losers and got peaced out at 9th. Due to a bracket mishap, MadScientist and LaN had to face each other in 1st round losers, causing LaN to come last (25th). Later in losers, MadScientist won 3 rounds straight and had his opponent in the set-winning combo, but dropped the combo and lost 4 rounds straight to lose the set and come 13th.
Overall, the weekend went well. Several of the players we lost to commented that we were really good, but we went there with the ambition to beat those players. Our biggest obstacle is that we don’t know the matchups against several of them. Ironically, we don’t play online enough: we need more matchup experience. Our plan now, besides secret marvel training, is to pick up and learn the characters that we lost to this weekend. Also, I feel we need to stop playing our mains for a while to try to break our current rush-down habits: we’re not using all of the tools available to us and the better players can block us all day.
Lastly, we got to:
- Ride on the Greyhound beside a redneck family of 2 girls and a guy, talking loudly about being too fat to fit in the bathroom, having threesomes, and enjoying banana-nut muffins without the banana.
- Buy a $1 bag of chips that contained exactly 10 chips.
- Stop LaN from explaining to customs what Arcana Heart is.
- Watch some random guy get taken away by Canadian customs. They actually had a thick file of paperwork on him.

I’ve only seen the new one and it was terrible. I fell asleep in the theatre. The actress was hot though.
you are dead to me. Tron should’ve won the Oscar for best picture.
Honestly though, maybe it isn’t that bad. I did see it though during christmas break after already seeing Black Swan and True Grit…so my expectations were high…
Also Rod, you for sure have to give Felicia a try in this game. She reminds me of the Sakura of MvC3 tbh…
