This show was great - other than my wife almost puking several times, this was even better than the first show. So many times Martin looked like “How’d you chain combo all my flaws?”. GGPO mofo.
^ Part of producing that show was prob going to the Health Department and getting a list of restaurants that have been cited and agreeing to fix them up as a part of the show. I’m sure there are places like that but the Health Department(health inspectors) actually do randomly show up to restaurants to check the kitchen and their food.

As someone who loves Indian cuisine I can honestly say I felt ill while watching Kitchen Nightmares last night. The state of operations there was beyond horrid, holy fuck. :wasted:

You mean the Indian chef that’s part of Ramsay’s restaurants? He only stayed there for a little while to help them cook and make a new menu, but agreed to accept a job as a consultant for when they needed advice.
I watched the first episode last night online, and although it wasn’t as good as the second episode, it was a pretty big lulzfest. The kitchen wasn’t as bad either, but they only had one working stove out of three, their refridgerator wasn’t even cold and was leaking water, and they had rotting food.
So far, the consistent problem seems to be a manager(s) not caring or giving a shit about the restaurant and just sit in a big pool of money. In episode one it was Peter being completely ignorant and not putting any effort into the business, and episode two was Martin being a complete fuck up in life in general. At least Ramsay got through to Peter and made him clean up his act, but Martin was beyond hope. Haha. Fucking scrub. 
can anyone recap the last 15 minutes of the show? my nieghborhood’s powergrid blew out and we had a brown out. heatwave at night + people turning up ACs FTL.

Martin tries to defend himself and ends up quitting. Owner ends up hiring Vikas (Superior Chef! ) as a permanent consultant. Everyone is happy and the chef that loves to hug Ramsey/Ramsay, hugs again. The end.

That Indian Restaurant is an example of why I’ve never patronized a restaurant owned by an Indian that wasn’t a Subway.
