Decided to go ahead and start a thread for this manga seeing as how it’s been mentioned in several threads without a place to talk about just the manga. For those who don’t know, Kingdom is a seinen manga centered around the events leading to the Qin Dynasty’s unification of Ancient China. It focuses on a boy named Shin(based off the historical Li Xin), and his friend Sei(Ying Zheng, the future Qin Shi Huangdi) and both’s struggles to reach the ends of their paths. I suggest giving it a read!
There is also an anime based off of the manga, though I much prefer the manga(the first season of the anime in particular suffers from horrid cel shading animation)

um, would one of you good gentlemen mind telling me what the hell ch170 was about? If you’ve read that far into the manga, you know what I mean. if not, get yo’ ass to readin!!!
ch170 is [details=Spoiler]completely necessary, this is an epic (the genre), and it follows sei and shin. 170 is a big stepping point for shin, but it is no means anywhere near the end of his growth.[/details]
anyway, the pacing for this manga is pretty good up until around the 300s imo. which is pretty good.
Well looks like Ryofui’s overrarching arc is almost over, as with the ending of Rou Ai’s rebellion both he and the Queen Mother will be rendered completely impotent and Qin will be able to conquest in earnest
